Valentina walked down the hallway to Interrogation Room 3. “Roulette and Shades left already. Clarence has been dealt with accordingly and tied up and restrained. He should be waking up soon ma’am.” Isabella said as she moved out of the way giving Valentina access to the door. 

“Thank you, Isabella, your duty’s are done for the night,” Valentina said calmly as Isabella nodded her head and walked off. Valentina took a relaxed breath as she walked into the room. Clarence was still passed out in the middle of the room restrained to a table and a chair. Valentina stood in front of the chair opposite him and stared at him, he didn't look very threatening. 

“Wake him up,” Valentina demanded as two members quickly ran over. One quickly snapped a pungent stick of smelling salts and wafted it under Clarence's nose. 

“Ugh fuck, my head,” Clarence mumbled as he came too. 

“Good evening Mr. Andor, how are you doing tonight?” Valentina said calmly as she sat down in the seat she was standing in front of. 

“What? Where the hell am I?” Clarence said as he realized the situation he was in and started to struggle. 

“There’s no need to be rude. You are at the Dietrich Mafia Base.” Valentina said calmly as she watched him struggle like a fly trapped on flypaper. 

“There’s no Dietrich Mafia. Tell me where I am and what I’m doing here.” Clarence shouted, losing his temper. The two soldiers step forward a little at his aggression. 

Valentina held a hand up stopping them, “Like I said you are at the Dietrich Mafia Base. The Dietrich’s have replaced the McIntyres. Now you’re here because I have some business with you-” Valentina said lowering her hand as he interrupted her. 

“What business you have should be discussed between the heads of the Mafia’s, as in my father and the head of your Mafia,” Clarence shouted, cutting her off. 

Valentina sighed “I am the head of the Dietrichs. And you misunderstand me, I said business with you, not your Mafia.” Valentina shook her head a little. This boy was so dense in the head. 

“What business could you possibly have with me? I’ve done nothing to you or your new Mafia.” Clarence said, calming down a bit. Finally, he was being somewhat sensible. 

“You are correct, you have done nothing to me. What you have done, however, is assault my son.” Valentina said, answering his question. 

“I don’t know who you are and I definitely don’t know any kid named Dietrich,” Clarence said, giving her a confused look. Valentina shook her head,  it felt like she was talking to a five-year-old. 

“Because that is not his name, he bears his father’s name. His name is Jaxon Santoro. Maybe that has jogged your memory?” Valentia said glaring into Clarence's eyes slightly. 

“Hey, I haven’t done anything wrong! He deserved it with all he did to my sister!” Clarence said, trying to defend himself. 

“And do tell me, what exactly did he do?” Valentina said, giving him the hope he had the chance to convince her of something else. 

“He abused her and was only with her for the money! She came home crying two nights ago saying that she had finally broken up with him and he had threatened to kill her!” Clarence said, trying to defend himself. She could tell by his tone that even he was starting to doubt what his sister had told him. 

“Do you really believe that? Have you ever even met Jaxon or heard his side?” Valentina asked, giving him a questioning look. 

“Well no but I don't need…” Clarence started as Valentina felt her anger spike a little. 

“Don’t need what? Evidence for the fact that the child you call your sister couldn’t possibly lie to you? Cause she would never do that to her dear older brother?” Valentina snapped slightly glaring at him. Clarence shut his mouth and looked afraid for the first time. 

“Hmm,” Valentina mumbled as she motioned the soldiers to leave the room. The soldiers did so swiftly and quietly. Valentina calmly stood up from the table and walked over to clarence. She smirked when she saw the fear in his eyes, it's the ones who seem tough who are the most afraid. Clarence struggled in his seat as Valentina grabbed his hair on the back of his head and slammed his face into the table. The satisfying crack of his nose breaking echoed throughout the room followed by a sound of anguish from Clarence. Valentina ripped his head back and pushed him away from the table. Clarence had blood streaming down his face already. Valentina delivered a swift kick to his stomach causing the chair to fall backward, having Clarence's head slam onto the cold concrete flooring. 

“Maybe now you've learned a lesson, if not I'm happy to teach you again,” Valentina said as she turned and calmly left the room. Valentina straightened her dress as she walked out of the room and she could see the gauzes of fear on the soldiers' faces as she walked out.

 “Get him out of here, I'm done with him,” Valentina said coolly as she walked off. She had to make it home before Jaxon realized she was gone and snuck out again. 

“Alfred you can't do anything when you're drunk.” Fletcher laughed as he wrapped his arm around Malorie. Malorie blushed and had a huge smile on her face. 

“I can do Rigby.” Alfred drunkenly snickered. Rigby blushed bright red and smacked Alfred's arm. 

“Cut it out,” Rigby mumbled as he tried to hide his embarrassment. 

“But that's beside the point, I can do plenty of stuff.” Alfred smiled as he took another sip of his drink. Fletcher laughed and rolled his eyes, 

“prove it then.” Ed laughed. Nova could tell Ed was starting to get a bit tipsy as well. 

“Do a flip!” Ruby cheered. “Alright,” Alfred said as he jumped up from his seat. Alfred ignored Rigby’s protests for him to sit back down as he climbed onto the table. Alfred smirked and flipped off the table, Alfred stumbled a little but landed nonetheless. 

“Looks like the circus is back for another show.” Marcus snickered as he walked over to them. 

“What's the fee to watch your show then?” Nova said locking eyes with Marcus. Marcus glared at her, Nova sighed that was one of Marcus's major issues the only emotion he showed was anger. It could be helpful in some situations but it also made him compulsive and rash. 

“What do you want other than to insult us, Marcus?” Alfred asked.  

“Please everyone, I'm just here to congratulate you. I commemorate you on your faith in this new leader of yours,” he said as his eyes locked onto Nova's. 

“And the new second in command,” he said, his eyes full of disgust. 

“I sense a little rage in your voice, Marcus. I forgot even though you're a lap dog you're still nowhere close to as high a rank I am” Nova said flatly as she downed the rest of her drink in a swift motion. She could tell that what she said had hit him hard, again anger was going to get the best of him. Marcus stormed over to her and whispered in her ear.

“You will never be better than me, you’re a Valadez. The only thing you are good for is the massacre of millions.” 

The words hung in the air around her as he walked away. His words rang true. She had never in her life spared a person she never hesitated to kill people when given the chance. she just smirked at him which made him angrier. 

“Alright, Marcus you've congratulated us all. Now leave.” Alfred growled. 

“Alright I will leave you all to your joyous celebration.” and without another word, he turned and left the speakeasy. 

“That angers gonna be the end of him,” Nova said as she set a stack of bills on the table. 

“Well I have to move into my new penthouse, wanna help me move in Alfred?” Nova said as she stood up and tossed her jacket on. 

“Sure come on Rig’s,” Alfred said as Rigby wrapped an arm around him. 

“Hey wait, we’ll come and help out,” Barnaby said as he helped Amy off her barstool. Nova just nodded as they left, Freddie and Ed could deal with the trannies the rest of the night.

Nova turned the lights on in the penthouse and walked into the entrance hallway. The others would be up with the rest of her boxes in a few minutes so Nova knew she had a few minutes to explore. The Penthouse was bigger than her old apartment by far. Each floor of the apartment complex had about 4 apartments on each floor, while the penthouse took up an entire floor by itself. The first door in the entrance hallway led to the kitchen that was connected to a dining room. Nova walked through the kitchen and into the dining room checking for anything out of place. Nova walked back into the entrance hallway and walked directly from the dining room and peeked into the living room. The living room was huge and it was filled with the newest gaming systems and electronics. Now she knew where Chris had spent all his money, this must be why he had to borrow so much money from Ed. Nova went and explored the rest of the penthouse which was an L-shaped hallway. Four regular rooms looked like they were supposed to be bedrooms but they hadn't been filled with anything yet. There was a closet in the hall for storage and one regular bathroom for guests or family members to use. At the very end of the hallway was the master bedroom. Nova took the box of her most personal belongings and walked into the master bedroom. The master bedroom was her favorite part of the penthouse. There was a giant bed that had soft everything and silk sheets, Nova set the box on the bed and collapsed into the mattress. It was probably the softest thing she’d ever laid on and ever will lay on. Nova got up and explored the rest of the room, there was a dresser and one of the windows in the room led to the fire escape. At least she now had quick access to the roof or too leave even if she was now on the top floor. Nova moved away from the window and walked over to what she thought was a closet that turned out to be a massive walk-in closet, there was another door that led to a lavish master bathroom. 

“Seems a little much but alright,” Nova whispered to herself as she inspected the bathroom. 

“Huh guess he was prepared for nothing.” Nova shrugged as she found a stash of condoms. Nova finished the tour of her new living quarters and walked back into the living room. Alfred and Barnaby were messing around and examining the video game equipment, while Amy and Rigby were sitting on the couch talking. Nova glanced and saw the rest of her boxes sitting in the corner of the room, she could get that stuff put away later she knew she wasn't going to sleep tonight anyway. 

“Look what I found.” Alfred laughed, tossing a stack of  DVDs onto the table. Nova took one look at the cover of one and tossed it back onto the table. 

“Get rid of those Rigby, heck burn them,” she said pointing at the stack. 

“I can't believe Chris watched these let alone owned them. Come on Nova we should watch one.” Alfred chimed in as he began going through the pile of DVDs. 

“I don’t need to see the videos. I can already imagine that just hearing you two go at it.” Nova said as she picked up the DVD's walked over to an open window and threw them out. Rigby was bright red, and Alfred even looked embarrassed. 

“I guess the walls are that thin,” Alfred said, giving Rigby an awkward smile. 

“Well on that note we should head out.” Alfred chuckled and picked Rigby up into his arms. Nova let a smile spread across her lips as Alfred ran out of the room with Rigby in his arms. 

Nova could hear Rigby's voice echoing through the hallway, “Alfred put me down!”. “We should be heading out as well,” Barnaby said as he wrapped an arm around Amy.

 Nova smirked “have a good date you two.” she said as Barnaby blushed and ushered Amy out of the penthouse. Nova let out a relieved sigh speaking of dates she had one with that comfortable bed.
