A shining haze as white as dove,
Foretold by grace and angels,
Who sing like choirs high above,
Unmoved by dawning ages.
To vanilla taste and grain,
Blood and silver on the pages,
To the eye that eyes brings pain,
The eyes that burn and rages.
I sigh at thought of friendship sought,
Be next to else myself is naught.
