They arrive by a large balcony in ruins. The King's knight appeared before them. Standing atop a pillar. He jumps down and draws out his wooden blade.

“Pesky slime! You lie to me! You’ll regret the day we crossed.” Zolhalla muttered.

      As the battle was about to commence. A flashing light crashes down, halting everyone for a brief second.

“Another monster?” Auroa whispered.

"Metarrior? What are you doing here?" Sullivan questioned. "Are you the reinforcement?"

     Confused, he assumes this was the doctor's intended plan. Metarrior quickly brushed Sullivan aside like nothing.

“Hey? What is the meaning of this? I’m the commander. Show some respect.” He raged.

"Back off, Wood boy! Leave them all to me." The monster insisted.

     Zolhalla still had his eyes on the King's knight piece as they continued to stare off. The wooded man called out his remaining guards to back him up.  

“Hmph…have it your way then.”

     Meanwhile, back at the fortress, the King and the doctor watch the battle from a viewing screen.

"When everything is in place, we'll fire our satellite laser to hit the field." The doctor explained.

     The King looks back at the doctor.

“Wouldn’t we risk hitting our knight too?” Wondered the King.

      The doctor just giggled a bit in comic relief.

"He is no longer of value to us. Expendable whether he succeeds or not."

“I like the way you think.”

      Down back below…

“Ok, so what’s the plan?” Alistor asks.

      Zolhalla had his eyes set on the commander. They had one monster and twenty guards to also worry about.

“Leave this lying man to me.” Zolhalla insisted.

     Zolhalla proceeded to handle Sullivan himself for personal reasons.

Maigashi, Auroa, Tannen, and Rose Fighter take on the guards. Alistor is left to face Metarrior with Rose Warrior.

“Let us begin.”

Zolhalla and Sullivan clashed blades. Both jumping and dodging one another attacks.

“Fire the lasers!” Tannen ordered.

     Rose Fighter started with the first move shooting a spread of laser shots at the soldiers. Auroa and Maigashi attacked them from the sides while Tannen jumped in from behind.

“Now it’s our turn.”

      Alistor and spirit charged at the deadly monster, starting with basic attacks.

“Don’t underestimate me!” Metarrior snarled.  

    Pillars of lasers came out from the monster's mouth. The monster slapped them both around as they tried hacking away at it.

“This guy’s tough!” Alistor panted.

     Zolhalla gets the first punch on Sullivan, sending him back as Tannen and the others had the guards on the run. Metarrior started shooting an explosive ball of sludge at Alistor and Rose Warrior.

“Incoming!” The spirit hollered.

    They take heavy damage from the impact. Rose Warrior defended Alistor with its own body as a shield, causing some parts of its back to disintegrate.

 “You’re badly hurt?” Worried Alistor.

     They countered back with a few ranged energy attacks from their weapons, but it only pushed the creature back.

“You’ll need more than that to take me down.” Mocked the monster.

     The few remaining guards struggled as Tannen and the four closed them in.

   Back at the fortress of Baronia, they prepared to fire their laser down at the battle.

 “All systems ready. Fire!”

      Their canon fired down in a matter of seconds as everyone had no idea what was going on.

“What is that?” Maigashi asked.

“I don’t want to find out. Let’s get back.” Auroa suggested.

     Metarrior just ignored the situation as the others pulled back. Zolhalla and Sullivan continue to fight. The laser distracts the gladiator for a brief moment leaving the commander to make a strike.

“A cheap punk shot.”

     He slaps him back away with his sword to counter. The wooded man started to sidestep and attack forward in an L shape direction.

"Now, what are you up to?"

The spider monster continued to fire at Alistor and the spirit as they had to constantly dodge. The beast quickly fires another set of lasers, giving them less time to react.

“Gah!!!”

      Alistor receives a minor wound on his leg from the monster as the others move out of the way. The laser above continues hitting on the field.

“This gives me an idea!” Zolhalla snapped.

     Each shot from the laser stayed in place for quite a while. The spider monster draws closer to Alistor and the spirit, trapping them in its web.

"You're caught in my web!" The monster chuckled.

     Metarrior didn't hesitate to spray another round of webs as Rose Warrior continued to shield Alistor. The monster got closer.

“Now’s our only chance!” Alistor yelled.

     The two unleashed their attacks, hoping they would pierce through the spider.  

“Rose Crown Crasher!!!”
