Long time no see!

It's been three years since my last update on this story, and I honestly don't know how many of you are still around (I mean, 'Her Lips' still gain a subscriber now and then!) – however, it is time for a heart-to-heart between me and you.

I began writing this story on a creative whim. I was in my last year of high school, and I had this idea of a sweet, short story about two girls who fall in love as kids only to never meet again until much later in life. More so, I wanted to try out writing – to prove to the world that I could do it. (Spoiler alert: I couldn't – yet)

Up until about a year ago I was certain I would continue this story, in one way or another. I am still very much a fan of the idea, but it feels awkward to start up where I left off. I have changed a lot, and so has my writing. There is simply too much I would have to change to make 'Her Lips' work for the person I am now.

I am not sure when, but at some point I'll take the time to re-write the first few chapters of this, and then continue the story. Frankly, it won't be for a while yet.

I am so grateful for the subscribers that have stuck around, and I hope this update is not too much of a disappointment. For those of you who would like to continue to support me, I have another story in the making here on Tapas as well as over on Wattpad. The name is 'The Last Madam Skyward', a fantasy story currently with 6 chapters. It would mean the world if you all would check it out!

Once again, thank you so much for your patience. I have so much more to write, so many stories to tell, and I hope some of you will stick around.
