The last time, Charles was having her own problems. The most popular guy in school, James Lleuad has befriended her. Amaryllis is now on her case constantly about it. I feel she found her "Prince Charming" but that is my opinion. I thought. It is a late Friday night. I started to think about Niko. All the times we hung out late nights. The nightlife was everything to me. That was the only way to see him. He is a student during the day. I turned on my Spotify R&B playlist started to play on my phone just thinking about him. When I started to reminisce, I got a call. Hello? I asked. Ryoko, is this you? Niko asked. Niko, how did you get my number? I asked. Your cousin, Yua gave me your number. Niko replied. I am so sorry, I didn't see you before I left. I replied. Ryoko, what are you apologizing about? Niko asked. Niko, I. I replied. Ryoko, you don't have to explain yourself to me. Have I not told you that? Niko asked. I smiled. How about we video chat. Will that make you feel better? Niko asked. Alright. I replied. As we switch to FaceTime, I was talking to him about an hour.  Soon as we ended our conversation, dad knocked on the door. Who were you thinking too? Henry asked. I looked at my dad. You're crying, what did that person say?  Henry asked. Dad, I am fine. They are tears of happiness. Not of sadness. I finally got to talk things over with him. I'm feeling better knowing that he doesn't hate me for just leaving. I thought. Charles walked pass my room sighing. Ryo, are you crying tears of joy? Charles asked. Yes, he still likes me. I replied. You look like you are having your own problems, hun? I replied. Dad, we need to have a girl talk. I replied. Carla grabs Henry. Let's let these girls talk. Carla replied. He sighs. They walk out of my room. Charles walks into my room. She sits on my bed.  Sigh, James is just being friendly with me. I am afraid of people thinking we are dating. Charles replied. It is not like he is going to help you out by coming over to the house. I replied. No, I would not hear the end of it from Amaryllis. Charles replied. It's just a feeling, he is going to have to come over here, and it will anger her. What clubs are you actively in this semester? I asked.  This year I joined the Yearbook Club, why? Charles replied. Why don't you look at who is all a part of the Yearbook Club? I asked. She took her phone out of her back pocket and went on her club app. As she was looking she scrolled down the club names members and sees his name. He's a part of that club too. Not only that, he's the president too. Charles replied. He might have been trying to get to know the new people. I replied. That's good, I am glad. He was causing me trouble. Charles replied. Let me see what he looks like. I replied. As I saw his picture, I was shocked at how handsome he was. Uhm, Charles that guy is handsome. Tell me the way he talks to you? I asked. He makes a lot of eye contact. At times, he would tease me over little things. Charles replied. Is there anything else? I asked. Today, after we compiled articles for school newspaper. He pulled me to the side and whispered something in my ear. Charles replied. What did he say, I want to know, girl? I asked. Well he gave me his number and gave me the flash drive with the basketball teams photos of the previous game. He said if "I need any help with anything" just call him. Charles replied. Uhm Charles, let me text this to you. I replied. Charles and I exchanged numbers. 

Ryoko :Let's be real, he likes you. 

Charles: He does, I never had a guy like me before?

Ryoko: Are you serious? 

Charles: Serious.

Ryoko: What? Girl start texting him.

Charles: Alright.

As the night came to it's peak, James looked at his phone. So she finally texted me. James replied. He opened the text and smiled. It was a win-win situation for everyone until something happened next.
