A tiger who looked suspiciously like a drill sergeant barked at Destra, "Move your uxel and get in line!" She got in line with the other prisoners headed to the Deep Cells, and shuffled dejectedly along to the jail entrance. She was about to go in, when- BOOM!  A huge fleet of ships portaled into view above Akkadi! Fully equipped, with neutron wave emitters and dark matter phasars, too! The only species with the audacity to attack the Akkadians were the Kyramos, fearsome canine warriors, who HATED them with the fire of a dying star. Why, they hated each other almost like cats and dogs. It seemed like their target was the King's Castle, otherwise known as Kitty Palace or Cat Tower by those who opposed the King. They fired, and wrought havoc upon the city with fires, explosions, even avalanches of rubble! Luckily, the gods had favored her, and an errant blast brought bricks crashing down, blocking the prison doors. Destra yelled to the others, "Let's go! The guards will be here soon! We can go to the depossesion warehouse, where they take our stuff. They'll have things that can get us off this planet!" This roused a hearty cheer among the prisoners. The recent shipment must have been delayed, because Valor was still there, waiting for her!  After the escapees had been loaded onto ships, mounts, and other vehicles, she got on Valor and turned around, when she saw her lawyer! He was pleading, "Please, take me with you! They'll kill me if they know I let you go, I just want passage to the edge of the Empire!" She replied with some doubt "Why should I trust you? I don't know your agenda, you could be trying to kill me for all I know." He begged "I'll do anything! I just want to get home to my family, away from these tyrants!" She let him come, but he would have to be closely watched...
