Hello there! First, I just wanted to apologize for my absence. Not that any of you will or should care but I just got discharged from an inpatient program (again lol) and I wasn't able to have access to my laptop, phone, or internet so I couldn't keep up with updates. But now that I'm back I will try to be better with that.
To try to make up for it, I'll try to do a few updates in the next day or so.
I know not many people read this but I just personally want to thank the few readers that do keep up with this story. It's certainly a personal story for me to write, even though it's a piece of fiction. And, as someone who is both a published author and someone who is trying to get some works out there for the world, it means a lot that even a handful of people are interested and invested in the writing I produce. Even though I typically don't have the time (with balancing uni and work and health) to properly edit and revise the work I do put out.
I guess what I'm trying to say is thank you for your support. And thank you for your patience with me.
I hope you're all doing your best to take care of yourselves.
Chris isn't known for being a lucky person. He's been trapped in the same town his whole life, with no concrete dreams or aspirations. And now he's lost the only person in his life that made him feel even remotely lucky.
So when he meets a curious stranger on the way out of Ohio, Chris can't help but wonder if this is the start of a whole new life, filled with possibilities far away from Greenville.
Or maybe he's in way over his head.
And maybe he just made a huge mistake.
