“Stop touching. You're just not used to it.” Rigby said, smacking Alfred’s hand away and moving his bow tie back into place. 

“At least you look adorable,” Alfred smirked, kissing Rigby's cheek. 

“I can’t believe I agreed to wear this,” Rigby said as he blushed and fixed his dress.

 “How are things going in there girls?” Egil called to them as he helped Chadwick and Fletcher with their outfits. 

“We’ll be done soon, Nova will you please stop fighting us?” Malorie huffed as she kept trying to apply mascara to Nova’s eyelashes. 

“Please just sit still for like five more minutes and well be done.” Ruby pleaded with her as she fiddled with her hair. 

“Fine” Nova huffed as excitement spread across the girls' faces as they continued. Malorie and Ruby had gotten themselves ready first then spent the rest of their time trying to ‘fix’ Nova. 

“There! done!” Malorie exclaimed as she set her brushes down and held up a small mirror for Nova to see. The makeup was simply done as was her hair, but for some reason simple on her made her look like a supermodel. Nova was speechless. 

“Come on let's show the others!” Malorie chirped as she grabbed Nova’s hand and pulled her into the hallway. Malorie let go of her hand and left Nova in the hallway as she and Ruby ran into the living room. Nova didn't know how to feel. She had never dressed up this much before, heck she was even wearing heels, but she had learned to fight in heels a long time ago. 

“Nova come out and show everyone!” Malorie shouted from the living room. Nova sighed as she walked out into the living room. Everyone went silent when they saw her. 

“Ta-da'' Malorie chirped as she gestured towards Nova. “We did a really good job,” Ruby said as she high-fived Malorie. 

“It's not that bad...is it?” Nova asked as her eyes panned over everyone's shocked expressions. 

“Holy crap Nova, You look amazing!” Alfred said Rigby nodded silently next to him. 

“Wow, she is a girl, Chadwick you owe me five bucks.” Fletcher joked as Chadwick sighed and handed him five dollars. 

“Enough you two,” Egil said as Alfred nailed both of them in the face with pillows. 

“Alright, let's get going.” Nova huffed as she walked to the front door. Ed ran up behind her. 

“You do look good Nova.” He said as he opened the door for her as the others followed them. 

“Thank you, Ed,” she said as they walked down to the lobby. 

“Mind if I be your escort for the night?” Ed asked as he held out his elbow. Nova sighed and shook her head, this was supposed to be a bonding experience after all. 

“Alright, Ed,” Nova said as she took Edward’s arm. Ed gave her a confused and happy look. Nova let a small smile creep across her lips as Ed led her to the limo they were taking, maybe tonight wouldn't be as bad as she thought. 

“This is going to be amazing! Oh, I can’t wait!” Ruby cheered as she climbed in behind them. Nova sat down in her seat and let go of Ed’s arm, she wasn't comfortable with most human touch. Edward gave her an excited smile as the others climbed into the limo. Nova smiled inside her head, maybe she would enjoy herself tonight. After all, it was going to be interesting.
