Right after that I jumped out of bed and looked at the door that led to what looked like my old bathroom and ran over there, when I got there I looked directly in the mirror and what came into my view was unbelievable.

After some time searching for information on the internet and trying to process what happened since I was killed, it seems that the plug finally fell.

The day of the Apocalypse or dungeon break was when thousands of monsters began to appear randomly around the world, and that was when the first dungeon that appeared was not completed 2 weeks after it appeared, as it appeared in an isolated place and was only found after 1 week of the day of the Apocalypse.
The first dungeon that appeared was Rank F, that is, the lowest rank, and the monsters that appeared around the world, as they emerged from this dungeon, were also Rank F, but even if they were of the lowest rank, they were more stronger than grown men and they came in hordes of thousands.
A tank shot obviously killed them, but they were plentiful, so the battles were very difficult and exhausting for the side of humanity.
So the battle ended only after they discovered the dungeon that was located on a mountain in Japan and finally broke through it.
It was a little strange that the monsters in this dungeon appear around the world at random after it has not been breached for 2 weeks, what would be expected would be the monsters inside the dungeon to be able to get out of it.
But this is due to an effect called ‘’ Dungeon’s Curse ’’.
The appearance of the dungeons is of gates of varying sizes, as usually the size of the gate indicates the rank of the dungeon, and these gates in theory connect our world to others that have hostile monsters and when they come to our world these gates bring an energy called World Energy, from the moment it appears, it starts spreading that energy and when it finally spreads enough, the gate will teleport different monsters with the strength derived from the dungeon rank to random places in the world.
However, after humanity has stabilized, these events have become extremely rare, because the higher the rank of the dungeon, the longer it would take to break, due to the fact that the stronger the energy that the gate spreads, the stronger it is. the rejection of our world by it, causing Rank S portals upwards to take more than 1 year to break and the Rank F dungeons were finished in less than 1 week after they appeared.
And that meant that, apart from the SSS Rank dungeons, most dungeons became a source of income for companies and guilds that began to emerge with the sole purpose of breaking through the dungeons.
‘’ Normally the first dungeon break would be necessary for humanity to be able to adapt to them faster, but I won’t waste this second chance by being as weak and useless as before, so I think I’ll have to change that destiny. ’’

Even though it's also a little strange for me to hug Lillia out of nowhere, I couldn't help myself, for me who hadn't seen Lillia in over 15 years since the terrorist attack that took place on April 7, 2026, that was like a miracle. At that time, she had stayed behind to fight one of the terrorist groups while giving security personnel time to take my unconscious self to safety.
In the end there was not even a corpse left for a funeral.
