In the same room with the crib, there are four people, Sylvia, Farn, Elaina, and Niel. Three of them are still trying to process the information they just discovered. Especially Farn and Elaina.
Their thought right now is something close to 'Is our child a genius in magic?!' and this isn't something they could just internalize and go with, this information shocked both, and they're trying to find their own way to cope with it and digest what just happened.
(I caused way more trouble than I expected with this.) Niel thought to himself. (But I hope it doesn't destroy my plans, the more time I waste, the higher the possibility of me losing to the deal I made. I wouldn't have made the deal if I knew this would be my new life... What is done is done, got to cope with it.) Niel started rethinking the whole situation, and how it could've been more peaceful for him to not have made a deal [The writer].
The atmosphere in the room was different from the usual as both his parents were still standing in the room silent, but then Farn looked at Elaina and said.
"Let's go to my office, we have some things to decide now... But if you need some time, we can do it after a 'small break'." Farn said very seriously but he also seemed somewhat tired.
"Actually, I would prefer a 'small break', we'll meet each other here in 4 hours, so at 13:00 hours." Elaina said in the same tired way as Farn. "Sylvia please look after Niel very attentively, and don't lose him for a single second." Elaina continues while looking at Sylvia while frowning.
"Yes! Countess Elaina." Sylvia nodded and regained her posture as much as she could.
Elaina left the room calmly, and just as Farn was leaving, he gave Sylvia a probing gaze before turning and continuing.
Now the only ones left in this room were Niel and Sylvia, and she immediately went to sit on the chair next to Niel's crib but immediately got up and started going back and forth in the room before sitting down again. Her expression didn't change at all during all this movement, and she just had a bland expression.
-In another room-
In a small room that could fit about three people at once, Elaina who now surrounded by wooden shelves that each containing ceramic flasks with different symbols on them.
Walking to one of the shelves and grabbed a flask that had the symbol of blue grains of sand, then took it to a small table with a tea set on it and a chair right next to it.
She sat on the chair and opened the ceramic flask to drop a blue powder that was inside the flask into a teacup with hot water in it.
The blue powder fell inside and began to delude in the water, then she picked a spoon and a different container, this one holding sugar, and put a full spoon in the teacup. Right after, she began to mix the sugar and blue powder in the teacup under the liquid in the teacup, which now had a dark blueish color in comparison to the lighter tone it had before.
She lifts the cup to her nose and lets the fumes produced by it get inhaled.
"Ahhaaa" A short moan could be heard as she trembled and her face carried a big and blunt smile.
"It's been a while... Maybe I shouldn't go back to this... But just a little wouldn't hurt, right? I just don't want to see my little chick fly away." Elaina said to herself as she looked at the cup expelling its blue fumes.
"No, it won't happen, after all, we are both different people. There's no way it would end the same way, we are better and won't let it happen... I won't let it happen... Yes, it's all going to be fine... We're going through that hell again." Elaina continued speaking to herself in quite a fast manner and with her eyes twitching.
"Yes, I better relax and drink my tea." Elaina said as she sipped from her teacup.
"Hehehe! I missed this! Hehehehe!"
Elaina said as she giggled and continued sipping from her tea even more.

In a different location, the area is an average street with a few folks walking around and maybe one or two carriages passing by, the climate is calm and sunny, as it's early in the morning, and not many people are active in the streets yet.
Walking on this street there's a man with white hair, a slim but muscular physique, dark skin, and wearing a green mask while wearing some simple and poor quality cloth shirt and pants, while on his foot black boots.
His green mask didn't have any holes in the eyes, so it was a mystery how he could even walk without bumping into something or someone, but no one paid him attention on the streets, and he just continued walking unbothered until he reached a two-story wooden and stone building that had a plank with some weird symbols in them.
The man opened the door and went inside this building and was met with stares from all over the room, as inside there multiple tables some of them occupied by a group of men and others empty.
At the end of the room, there's a counter with multiple wood stools in front of it in a horizontal line, and behind it, a man cleaning wooden cups with a piece of cloth, while behind him stood shelves with various alcoholic drinks and beverages.
The man with the green mask walking to the counter and sat at one of the wooden stools, then he said.
"I'm in for a round of ale, also what wines do you have?" The man ordered his drink then asked a question.
"A round of ale coming right up! Also, we are out of wine for now... If you really want to drink, I suggest you come back later at night." The man responded as he started getting the ale. This man was tall and big bulky, with a strong mustache but no beard, he had short straight blue hair and wore both a beige shirt and pants with low-quality cloth, while his foot had brown boots.
"I see, just bring me the strongest ale, you already know what I like Harmon." The man with the green mask says.
"I told you to not come here at this time of day again Fa... Just, stop doing this to yourself." Harmon said as he served the man with a green mask a mug of ale, he almost said something but cut himself and just left off with a piece of advice.
"No need to tell me twice, you know I'll come back someday." The man with the green mask said then grabbed his mug of ale and as he did so a part of his mask opened up and now, his mouth area was exposed as he began drinking his ale like there's no tomorrow.
"You're a lost cause." Harmon said while shaking his head.
"Maybe, but at least this way things don't get worse..." The masked man said as he kept drinking his ale until he finished and asked for another round.

4 hours later in a room, there's a desk in the center of it, and on one side is Farn, and on the other is Elaina.
"Now, it's time we discuss Niel's situation." Farn said with a very serious expression on his face, and his eyes completely centered on Elaina.
"Yes, and I'll say it now that I don't agree with what you're planning." Elaina said bluntly to Farn without batting an eye and looking directly at his.
"You haven't even heard me yet, how can you be so sure you'll disagree?" Farn said in response to her.
"Aren't you planning to make Niel into the next family head? Knowing you, you probably even want to train him in the art of the sword personally." Elaina said without a second thought.
*Sigh* "You know me very well, but I also understand that all you want is to give him his freedom of choice, so instead of having a heated discussion that will take us nowhere, why don't you listen to my idea?" Farn said right back.
"What are you thinking of?" Elaina said as her serious expression loosened a bit and she slightly leaned in.
"I want to wait until he's 4 years old, then start his training but if he doesn't like it or wants to give up, I won't stop him. Then, once he's slightly older I'll try again." Farn said with a calmer look on his face and his eyes brows together.
"... Why must you insist so badly? Can't our child just have a normal life?!" Elaina yelled at Farn.
"You know the answer! I'm the head of the silverheart household, Count Farn silverheart and I most hold my ground for the family, and in that same way Niel will have to inherit my position." Farn said firm and concise.
"... Nobility and its stupid inheritance laws! Don't you see this is exactly what happened last time!?" Elaina Yelled at Farn again.
"No, we are not going to make the same mistake! I also don't want that to repeat itself, he's my child too." Farn said in response narrow his eyes.
"Then, why don't you treat him as such, rather than looking at him as a political tool for the family?" Elaina asked with watery eyes.
"I can't, and you know I can't..." Farn said with his head down.
"I'll take him away!" Elaina yelled as she slammed her hands on the desk.
"You know you can't..." Farn said and a drop of what seemed to be water fell on the desk.
Seeing this Elaina took a deep breath and hugged Farn.
"Just promise me, it will all be fine... Promise me I won't lose my child... Not again..." Elaina said with tired eyes.
"I wish I could... But I can't..." Farn said with his head still down.
Both of them stood like that for a while longer, and soon a new conversation between them started.

Back in the room where Sylvia and Niel were staying, she was still unable to stay still and occasionally got up to move around for a bit.
(Now that I can sense mana, all I can do is try and improve my mana manipulation, but I don't know how that would go considering what happened earlier...) Niel thought to himself.
Not long after Farn and Elaina came in.
"You can leave Sylvia thank you for your help." Elaina said.
"It's my job, my Countess!" Sylvia said in response as she was just leaving.
"Sylvia, thank you for your help, I was wrong in accusing you. You're dismissed for the day." Farn said with a cold and distant look in his eyes.
Sylvia bobbed and smiled slightly before going back to having a bland expression and leaving.
"You could just have said I'm sorry, you man are too prideful." Elaina said as she moved towards Niel's crib.
"It's not about being a man, it's about being the head of the Silverheart household. You should know." Farn said as he moved to the bed and laid on it tired.
"Being a noble carries too much trouble, sometimes I feel it would be better if things were simpler, like before." Elaina said as she once again started breastfeeding Niel.
Farn didn't say anything in return as he just laid on the bed silent. After a while, Niel was feed and Both Elaina and Farn started to prepare to sleep, and just like that another, day went by.
