Read A short story binder :: The Text

Finally, time for some rest. I look to my right to check the time it's 9:30. That's ok i guess? I could read or even sleep. eh. I grab out a book fomr the bookcase beside me . I open the book and start reading, i yawn, tears blurring my vision. I continue to read.

DiNg! I sigh and reach for my phone. The screen lights up, the time read 12:00, i wanna go back to sleep but i realized there's one missed message.

I open the message and click on the sender without looking the message reads;

Hey, Jade!

I can't find my parents and my house is empty, dust everywhere, like nearly abandonned.

I read the last line again, then again then about five more times, struggling to belive it, i drop my phone, my hands shaking rapidly. I scream into my pillow. Does someone call this a prank? Well it's not she was my best friend. But...

Layla is dead, she died five years ago.
