Yoomi: (humms the notes)

Yoomi beginns to play

Yoomi starts playing stronger; She is unhappy...

Yoomi: (Sigh) I loved playing piano ever since I was three… I alway used to listen to famous classical pieces, especially from great Yirama. I looked up to her, and listened to all her pieces that came out, and even tried to learn some. My favorite is Memories In My Eyes.

But, I was in an accident, bus crash, if you‘re wondering, so I am not allowed to play…

Neighbor: Do you mean, you can‘t play?

Yoomi: No, I can play, and I will play… But if I do, I won‘t be able to anymore in the future. My hand won‘t be able to-

Neighbor: It‘s okay, you don‘t have to say.

Yoomi: (sigh) Is that how my life was supposed to turn out?

Neighbor: If that is how He plans it, then it must be so…

Yoomi: (sigh) Am I alone?

Neighbor: You might be...

°°° Present: Yoomi is still playing-

Yoomi: I love to play, because when I play the way I play, all I‘m doing is expressing the way I am feeling. When I'm playing, I am who I truly am…

Jeonhan comes out from the teacher's room...

Jeonhan: Why is the history teacher so rude? All I did was ask question.

He hears someone playing piano from the music room; he listens in...

Jeonhan: ! Who‘s playing? I don‘t know anyone who plays piano in this school exept for…

Yoomi continues playing....

Yoomi: I should stop, and get ready to go home so I can make a piece for the audition… (abruptly stops)

Jeonhan: ? Why did she st-

Yoomi opends the door… She is completely surprised.

Yoomi: What were you doing? 

Yoomi seems upset

Jeonhan: I don‘t want to make her upset that I was listening… Uh, don‘t worry I wasn‘t spying on you.

Yoomi: That‘s comforting...(she still doesn‘t looks 100% convinced)

Jeonhan: I actually do play piano; that‘s why I wanted to come.

Jeonhan goes through the door

Yoomi: Yeah, I know that… ( she remembers his audition paper) Really?

Jeonhan: Should I bring it up? Yeah, remember? When I asked you where the auditioning is?

Yoomi turns her back to him and starts walking around…

Yoomi: Oh, yeah…

Jeonhan plays unharmonized keys, which Yoomi gets surprised by…

Yoomi: Ah! Gosh, do you really know how to play? It doesn't seem so, no offence.

Jeonhan: Of course, but you‘re leaving, so you won‘t really know… (smiles)

Yoomi: Right! I‘m going now, so, bye 

She does a  slight bow. She is about to leave, takes the door handle, but waits-

Yoomi: Do- do you have an audition on the 22 April? I saw it on the paper for your audition… All learners in the Academy have it then, so he must too.

Jeonhan gets surprised that she knew...

Jeonhan: Yeah, I do.

Yoomi: (whispers) He must be good…

Jeonhan: Sorry?
