Before the train halted...
“Hey, Ayane…”
“What’s up, Teresa-san?”
“You said Susukino is the entertainment district of Sapporo right?”
“Oh that’s right I forgot to tell you-”
“Of what?” Teresa drinks water.
“Susukino was once Sapporo’s red-light district!”
Teresa chokes on water she had been drinking.
“D-Did you just say, red-light district?”
Teresa freezes at the thought. Ayane asks what’s wrong. Teresa is embarrassed.
“Is there something wrong with saying red-light district?”
Teresa turns red. “N-Not really…”
Ayane ponders.
“That’s what my mom said once, but I still don’t know what the red-light district is.”
Teresa, motivated, sits next to her.
“My deepest and most sincere and thorough apologies to you, Ayane, for what I am about to do…”
“Huh? What do you mean?”
Teresa leans closer to Ayane. Whispering…
Five minutes later…
Ayane’s face turned red in embarrassment.
“T-Te-Te-Teresa-san…! Why would you tell me this?”
Teresa moved back to her seat.
“Best if we ignore that Susukino used to be… uhh… you know…”
Their red faces turned away into the mirror side of the train.
