*Viktor's pov*

I took a few bites of the scrambled eggs in front of me. When I noticed it. His smell. It was really nice but there was something about it that had seem strange the entire time and now because of the closeness I finally figured it out.

He is a god damn werewolf! How the hell did I not notice that!
I jumped up and just starred at him.
Why the hell is a werewolf nice to me?! This makes no sense!
"Why the hell are you so nice to me?! What the fuck are you planning?!"
I screamed at him.

He then said something about us being mates and that he could explain it to me but I was to panicked to even listen probably. All I couldn't think about was how to get away from him.

In an blink of an eye I run off to get my shoes and then stormed to the front door. He used his fast reflexes and broad frame to put himself between me and the door.

He said something that I couldn't fully understand over the noise of my racing heart and the ringing in my ears. I just nodded in response hoping that it would make him move out of my way. A second later he pressed a small piece of paper in my hand and let me through.

I sprinted down the stairs of the apartment building and only slowed my paste a little bit when I reached the sidewalk. My mind was completely blank but my heart was still pounding like crazy and my breathing was erratic.

Then it hit me like a brick to the face.
I'm the mate of a werwolf.
I abruptly stopped and repeated it over and over again in my head until it finally fully sunk in.

Okay Vick having a soulmate is actually pretty cool. No it's even really awesome and him being a guy is also totally okay too, specially when he is that hot. I took a shaky breath when tears started to form in my eyes.

But he is a werewolf....
A GOD DAMN WEREWOLF!!!! FUCKING HELL!! WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE ONE OF THOSE THINGS!!
Anger and frustration boiled up inside of me.

I just couldn't comprehend that the person I was supposed to love for the rest of my live was one of those beasts that were the mortal animes of my people. Sure the fighting had stopped officially twenty years ago but it still wasn't all good between us.

I felt so my different emotions at once that I couldn't keep the tears from running down my face. My knees gave out under me and I curled into a ball in the middle of the busy sidewalk. Not carrying one bit about the people starring at me.

After what felt like hours of me lying there I was ripped for my thoughts when somebody put there hand on my shoulder. I locked up and saw a elven woman crouching next to me. "Hey sweetie are you okay?" She asked with a calming smile on her lips. All I was able to was to shake my head and sniffle a little.

She nodded and took out a tissue from her purse. While wiping of my tears she said "It's okay. I'm sure it will get better soon." Looked at here in disbelief and said to her while pulling a face "Yeah I doubt that. But still thank you."

With another nod she stood up and pulled me up with her.
"You should probably go home. It's not good to be out here in this state. "
"Yeah I know." I looked down at my feet and noticed that I wasn't wearing my jacket and instead had only his hoodie and my boxer shorts on.

Panicked I rummaged through the pocket of the hoodie he had given to me but all I found was the small paper with what I assumed his number on it.

Shit I left my phone and wallet at his place. I cant go back there!
I mumble a few curse words at my self and then with a heavy sigh said
"Ahm miss could I maybe use your phone for a moment?"

She nodded and gave her phone to me.
With a few deep breath I dialed the numbers and then put the thing to my ear waiting impatiently for him to pick up.
