Chapter 16 part-one [Ace]
27^th of December, Saturday

Alarm rings.

Ace wakes up and is annoyed since he didn’t get enough sleep. Today is the 27th of December, Saturday, the day for the party.

Damn, I don’t want to go. I’m really sleepy. Ahh, I hate this shit. Even if I go there, nothing good will happen.

Ace somehow gathers motivation and leaves his house to attend the party. He was the last one to get there. Two hours passed, and he was bored and wanted to go and play some games. Others decide to play a game called Truth&Dare, and Ace didn’t want to play this at any cost. They start playing, and just right before Ace’s turn to be questioned, his phone rings. 

Sorry, I will respond and come.

He picks up the call.

Ace: For the first time, I am grateful that you called me.
“Huh, what?”
Ace: Nevermind that and tell me why did you call?
“Nothing, I just wanted to share our tournament brackets.”

After they end their call, Ace decides to take advantage of the call and return home. 

As he was returning home, Ace saw Annie in the park sitting on the bench all by herself.
