How to Art: Height Difference

as someone who's tol (1,80/ 5'11'') with a lot of smol friends... I could gather some really good art advice for you first hand!!
Which is your favourite Method? Are you Tol or Smol? and most importantly.. HAVE YOU TRIED THE BOX??

I tend to draw characters that are the same height and go for people my height in real life too lol. I'm smol and if I have to hug someone taller I feel like i should be on my tip toes but it hurts >:(
