thin branches stuck and still. 

No will, 

no will in the shapely green leaves.

No will, but it stared--

stared into nothing, 

with its small, sour fruit.

It stared,

stared at everything.

But waited for anything,

for the wind to push it,

to move in any direction. 

But what was will, 

when you had 

no senses to follow.

The bees

they buzzed, and frantically foraged--

for anything, and everything.

For the perfect pollen

no...any pollen.

Only following

their will. 

But what was will, 

when you only had

your senses to follow.

The dog? He stayed still--

Still, like the tree

but followed his master. 

He paid no mind, 

but the dog--

he waited...

waited for orders,

that the human could bark. 

But what was will, 

when you only had

your senses to follow.

The man, yes...

the man--

they were different!

Or so they said,

trotting around

stomping their feet

shouting their will.

Free Will!

They said they knew so well, 

that they had free will. 

But what was will, 

when you only had 

your senses to follow. 

That's the thing, 

it wasn't just their senses. 

They followed words,

words of their savior,

words endlessly repeated, 

the words of anyone, and everything. 

They followed, and

never stopped, just

one moment...

to think, for their 

Own. 

So they followed their senses, 

and they followed their masters.
