Alec had a hard time enjoying his alone time with Nick after school. He had been waiting for it all morning for this moment. But now that it was here, he wasn't into it anymore. His mind kept wandering to what had happened at lunch. He couldn't get Lukas's hurt face out of his head. It haunted him.
"Hey." Nick gently kicked him, pulling him from his thoughts momentarily. "You okay?"
"Yeah." Alec smiled lightly. "Sorry. My head's elsewhere."
"Want to talk about it?"
Nick crawled across the bed, moving closer to Alec. He rested his head on his shoulder, looking at him.
"It's nothing. I'm just worried about Lukas."
"Why?" Nick slowly pulled away.
"He's my friend," Alec remembered how Lukas stormed out of the room, and his feeling of guilt took over again. "I feel like I made things worse for him."
Alec stared at the floor. He felt so ashamed for what he had done. It was clear that Lukas didn't want to talk about his problem. But he had joined Charlie in the witch hunt, pushing Lukas until he left. Alec sighed and let himself fall on the bed. He stared up at the ceiling as if it would help him. But it didn't. The only thing that would help him feel better would be to apologize to Lukas. He had to talk to him.
He made up his mind to do it sooner than later. Alec was going to sit up and call Lukas when Nick slipped onto his lap, straddling him. Alec stared at him. He was surprised. Nick wasn't usually this aggressive.
"What are you doing?" He asked as he sat up.
Alec didn't know what Nick was thinking, but he wasn't against it. He liked that he was taking the lead.
Nick kissed him instead of answering his question. Alec grabbed onto his hips. He couldn't help but respond to his touch. The kiss wasn't very long. After a few seconds, Nick pulled away, causing Alec to pout.
"I've been thinking."
"Yeah." Alec kissed Nick's neck. "About what?"
"About taking the next step in our relationship."
Alec stopped and pulled away to look at him properly. He wasn't sure he had heard him correctly.
"What?" Alec didn't want to jump to conclusions. Though he did have some idea of what Nick was telling him. He wanted to be sure. "What do you mean?"
Nick intertwined their fingers. He rubbed his lips against the back of Alec's hand.
"I thought we could do more than just kiss."
Alec's mind went blank for a split second. As if it was rebooting. He reprocessed the words Nick said. It didn't feel real.
"Are you serious?" Nick nodded. "Are you sure?"
"Yes."
Alec tried to contain his excitement. He didn't want to seem too eager and scare Nick away.
"What did you have in mind?"
Nick lightly nibbled at Alec's index finger, causing him to shiver slightly.

Alec lay in his bed, looking around his bedroom. He was going through his mental list. Double-checking that everything was ready for what was to come. Especially the bedroom door. He didn't want anyone walking in on him. He would never hear the end of it.
He plugged his earphone into his phone and waited for Nick to call. Alec couldn't believe they were actually going to do this. He had never even thought about doing this with his ex.
He got a text and quickly turned to his phone.
Nick: Are you ready?
Alec: Yeah.
Alec's screen illuminated. Nick was video-calling him. He swallowed hard. It was finally happening. He was nervous but excited at the same time. He accepted the call. The screen was black for a second, and then an image appeared. Nick was lying on his side on the bed. Naked. Alec swallowed hard. He had seen Nick naked before, but they were kids. Now it was different. They were older and together romantically.
"Stop staring."
"I can't help it." Alec smiled. "You look so beautiful."
Nick turned his face to the side, but it wasn't enough to hide the redness in his cheeks. Alec wanted to hug him. But in his present state, he couldn't run through the balcony to give him one. If anyone outside saw him running stark naked, he would be in trouble.
Alec found himself staring at Nick again. He knew it made him uncomfortable, but he couldn't stop. He wanted to take in everything. To burn the image of him into his brain.
For a moment, they stared at each other. Neither one of them spoke or moved. Alec started to wonder what Nick was going to do. He knew why they were doing this. But he didn't know what Nick would do. An image of that night he saw him masturbating appeared in his mind, and he felt his lower area twitch.
"Hey, um..." Alec glanced at his lap briefly before looking back up. "Are you gonna use it?" Alec asked.
Nick looked back at him. He didn't ask what Alec meant. He knew.
"Do you want me to use it?" Alec nodded without a moment hesitation. He wanted to see again. Nick writhing in pleasure. "Okay. Give me a minute." Nick left the frame. Alec could hear him rummaging through the drawers, and before long, Nick returned. "Got it."
Nick was holding the vibrator he had used that time. Alec's eyes went to it. He didn't really get a chance to see it since it was being used. It was bigger than he had imagined. He wondered how Nick managed to get it in. Clearly, he had been practicing, but for how long.
"How did you buy that?"
"I asked a friend." Nick lowered his head.
The only person Alec could think of when he said friend was Tate. He felt anger starting to bubble. He didn't like the idea of Tate buying those kinds of things for Nick.
The sound of something vibrating quickly drew his attention, pulling away from his thoughts of Tate. Nick had turned the vibrator on. He stared at Alec seductively and slowly pressed the toy against his nipple. The moment the silicon touched him, he moaned.
Alec has known Nick his whole life. But once they entered high school, Nick has completely cut contact with him. Alec becomes distraught by the sudden loss of his childhood friend and does anything he can to get him back. Only problem is that Nick has a secret. One that could change their relationship forever.
