Letting out a deep sigh he pulled back his soul energy finally finished with the last stage of cooking. He had once more woven minimal amounts of soul energy into the foods spiritual energy to keep them together and force them to mix and form the expected result. "Thank you for waiting this is my dish. It is simple but I hope it still tastes good." He placed the food on the counter watching the other two take a look at it. Then he turned his attention to the kitchen shelves looking around until he finally found what he was looking for.

"Lee Ling Mo since today is the first day we meet and you will hopefully soon be part of our family let me toast to our meeting." He smiled with a bottle of alcohol in his hands and a small cup in the other. Lee Ling Mo looked a little taken back giving Lee You Sin a look to see what she was thinking before he finally agreed. "I would love to drink with you to a new meeting but let us first finish making the food before we drink." He answered as he turned his attention back to Lee You Sin. "Do you want my help in the kitchen? We could test out how compatible our soul energies are this way."

Lee You Sin nodded smiling and soon after they decided on two dishes they would make. For the first, Lee You Sin would take the lead for the second Lee Ling Mo. Sitting at the table Mo Shin Yun watched the two of them work in the kitchen. He quickly saw the difference in power. While he took forever just to cut a few vegetables and lost quite a bit of their spiritual energy in the process Lee Ling Mo didn't lose any and quickly finished cutting both vegetables and meat. At some point, Mo Shin Yun got up from his seat getting closer to take a better look at how those two handled their soul energy. He even wanted to ask questions and take notes but he also didn't want to disturb the nice atmosphere surrounding the two.

The longer he watched the more he felt like Lee Ling Mo really was a good match for Lee You Sin. It didn't take them too long to finish two more dishes and once they were placed on the table, they all gathered finally ready to eat. Mo Shin Yun offered Lee Ling Mo a drink before they taste the dishes in order to welcome him to the family dinner table. It was more an excuse to make Lee Ling Mo drink than out of courtesy.

"I'm curious why did you mix eggs with Sheapan milk? I never heard of anyone doing that before." Lee Ling Mo asked as he tried the steamed eggs nodding in approval. Mo Shin Yun scratching his head a little awkward. "I'm a water soul element so steaming food or cooking food is the most comfortable for me and since I'm still only a magenta level I didn't want to risk anything tonight. But at the same time, just cooked eggs or even steamed eggs is a little boring and bland. So, I remembered in class we learned about Sheapan milk and its unique salty taste. That's why I tried it."

"Interesting. I haven't seen anyone cook eggs like that before but it really makes a lot of sense thinking about it like that elegance in simplicity and it tastes really good too." Lee Ling Mo complimented him. Mo Shin Yun shrugged still a little awkward. Compared to the dishes the other two made his dish was pretty simple and a little embarrassing but it still felt good getting complimented like that.

"Brother Lee you really should treasure my sister." Mo Shin Yun was feeling the alcohol as his head was spinning. He was always proud of his alcohol tolerance but apparently, this new body wasn't as good. "I will. I'm thankful enough to carry her on hands for the rest of my life. My Master first wanted to give me to the Wan Bu Sect they have an earth soul element practitioner who is a real man-eater and to gain favours with the Sect they wanted to give me to her." Lee Ling Mo was just as drunk spilling all the tea.

"But then Elder Wang came asking if my master was interested in me marrying Lee You Sin and I have to say she is a hundred no a thousand times better than that man-eater." Mo Shin Yun smiled seeing that Lee Ling Mo gave Lee You Sin a thankful smile. "I think you two had enough." The girl in question rolled her eyes at them suppressing the urge to grab them both by the ears pulling them outside. With a forceful expression, she pulled them both up from the ground. "Let's get some fresh air and you should head home Mo Shin Yun. You need your energy for tomorrow."

That evening Mo Shin Yun arrived home still a little tipsy but the cold evening air had sobered him up a little. As he arrived, he saw two figures standing in front of his place. "Mo Shin Yun. Where have you been? We were waiting for you we have news." He right away recognized them as Wang Ha Yon and Ma Lin Ha. "I'm sorry I was meeting my sister's fiancé." He replied as he was greeted by Wang Ha Yon's voice. "Fiancé?" Ma Lin Ha asked right away just to stop himself a few seconds later. "No tell me about that later first we have amazing news." Mo Shin Yun laughed as he heard those words, of course, the other would be interested in gossip as big as a marriage but seeing that he stopped himself from asking those must be really big news.

"We found a guardian for you." Wang Ha Yon finally exploded unable to suppress the urge to tell him any longer. Mo Shin Yun just looked at them for a few seconds feeling like that information took forever to reach his brain. "You what? Who? How?" He asked finally processing what he heard. Wang Ha Yon gave him a mysterious smile. "We can't tell you that but we found someone willing to protect you. Now all you need to do is reach a red level and Elder Yan can present your case." Mo Shin Yun tilled his head a little confused. "Why can't you tell me?" He asked but instead of getting a reply, Ma Lin Ha put his arm around the other's shoulder.

"Now tell me about that wedding." And with that Mo Shin Yun spent the rest of the evening telling the other two about Lee You Sin's wedding and about Lee Ling Mo. "He was supposed to be given to the man-eater?" Ma Lin Ha asked his voice filled with distress. "He really is lucky to marry Lee You Sin instead." Wang Ha Yon nodded along. "It's really a pity a woman like that holds so much power." She shook her head her face even showing something like disgust. "She is just as bad as Lu Nang's big mouth." She continued making Mo Shin Yun look at her in confusion.

"Lu Nang Sect's big mouth is a strong earth soul element ShuCha who has a thing for getting young girls when they just awoke their element to train them and nurture them. He enjoys raising them to be his little wives but once they reach twenty-two, he will always lose interest and either give them to one of his disciples or they died. Nobody is able to prove he kills them but everyone knows that's what's happening. Wan Bu's man-eater is a female earth soul element with a taste for young men they are given to her as husbands and after she used them until they go insane, she throws them aside finding someone knew but because they are both blue level blue colour souls their sect's do nothing against them since they are important to keep the sect's power base."

Wang Ha Yon explained the situation to Mo Shin Yun making him feel disgusted. A shiver was running down his spine. "That's really messed up." He couldn't help but wonder just how fuck up this world really was if people like that were honoured rather than punished. Until now he only had gotten in contact with a small part of this world and for the first time, he was confronted with the really fuck up parts of it. "The powerful sect's all condemn that kind of behaviour but smaller sects and clans still offer them disciples in hopes to gather favours with those two sects." Ma Lin Ha continued.

Mo Shin Yun could only shake his head. "I really hope I will never have anything to do with those people." He said mentally clasping his hands together begging whatever divine entity was out there to protect him from people like that. The other two could only agree. For a few minutes, they stayed silent all wishing strongly to not get in contact with people like that. After a while, Mo Shin Yun remembered something else. "Oh right. I nearly finished the meridian cleansing after tomorrow I can give you a better estimate on when I will be able to advance so we can make plans to see if I can make it before the expedition."

The next day Mo Shin Yun as he had done the last few days excused himself from classes to find Lee You Sin. Today they wanted to finish the rest of the cleansing and do one more full-sweep to get rid of any poisoning to see where his cultivation level was at. The last few days Mo Shin Yun had felt his level rising with every cleaning but it still was far from advancing. With his eyes closed, he entered his sea of conscious letting in Lee You Sin. "Before we start. I'm sorry about yesterday I wanted to see if he got violent or insulting when he was drunk to make sure he would treat you well." Mo Shin Yun quickly thought conveying his apology. Lee You Sin just sighed. "I know and I'm thankful it made me feel protected. Everyone else was rushing the marriage and wanted us to get along but you really looked out for me."

Mo Shin Yun could hear the smile in her thoughts but the next moment he felt mental pain. It wasn't really pain it was just the impression of pain as he felt her urge to pull his ears. "But next time don't get him drunk. And don't get drunk yourself it was a lot of work raking care of you and him." Mo Shin Yun quickly thought "I'm sorry" over and over as he could feel the echo of Lee You Sin's laugh in his mind. "And what do you think of him?" She finally asked. Mo Shin Yun took his time before thinking about it.

"He looked sincere with you and he has a good character. When you two were cooking together he made sure you were able to work while giving support and not overprotecting you. Even after he was drunk, he didn't speak ill or showed signs of aggression. If you think he is a good match I have no reason to object." The smile echoing through Mo Shin Yun's mind was bright and lit up his mind. He nearly could see how this smile would light up the room whenever it was shown. "I'm happy you like him." He thought. After that, they didn't waste any more time and started the process of cleansing the last bit of poisoning.

Mo Shin Yun could feel the poison in his meridians being washed out. It always felt like his energy was cleaner and fresher like the world after a spring rain. With every bit of poison being washed out, he could feel his energy flowing freer through his meridians. He could feel the spiritual energy rushing into his body taking up all the freed-up space the poison left behind filling his meridians with more and more swirling spiritual energy. It was rushing through his body, filling up his core the magenta was darkening compressing it felt denser and denser as the energy poured into his body.

Mo Shin Yun was a little confused as to what was happening since he never felt like this before while cultivating. He could only assume it was because the poison was washed out. He could feel Lee You Sin's soul energy around his core like a lotus flower promoting the energy movement and nurturing his own soul power. She was in deep concentration when suddenly she pulled back. "Mo Shin Yun... You... I..." Mo Shin Yun could hear her deep breath echoing in his mind as she calmed herself down. "You are advancing I should step back and you should concentrate on your meditation." She simply stated after a short while quickly leaving his sea of conscious but Mo Shin Yun already had felt her distress and surprise.
