"Wait, I think I didn't hear you clearly. Can you say that again?"
"I am at Izuki's." Azu repeated.
"All right. I'll be there as soon as I can."
Akira was struggling to keep himself calm after he heard from Azu that he was staying at Izuki's place. While Akira knew that Azu had ran off to Izuki's home multiple times in the past, in fact almost everytime he had a fight with his mother, while he also understood that Izuki knew Azu long before Akira met him and that they were friends for a long time, he just couldn't let it slide this time. Especially not after that incident.
He did say that they didn't really 'do it' that day.
But didn't he say that he kissed him?
He did it to piss me off.
And pissed off he was.
When Azu left his home a few days back without saying a word, Akira had kept on trying to contact him. But Azu either ignored his calls or straight away declined it.
Two days later curiously, Azu picked up his call that one time.
Only to tell him that he can go fuck himselves and that he was planning on having a good time with his ex boyfriend. Later, in a very successful attempt to piss Akira off, Azu had gone ahead and suggested that he could join them if he wanted to.
Funnily, things started making sense to Akira when Azu rather casually and almost too easily, told him the name of the motel where he was.
It was Azu's way of taking his anger out on Akira and his roundabout way of telling him that he was angry and that he was disappointed. He wanted Akira to find him. He wanted Akira to apologize and he wanted to hear his excuses. He wanted to hurt him but also wanted him to come back to him.
Akira knew it was a bait the moment Azu gave him the name of the motel. But that certainly didn't stop him from being angry and feeling betrayed.
Izuki kissed him. And all because Azu wouldn't grow up and talk to me like a fucking adult.
No, there was no excusing it. However, Akira understood that it definitely wasn't the right time to discuss this matter with Azu. But he had decided that he will make it a point to talk to him about it sometime, in the near future.
