So after working on the next few chapters I've found that the story is getting WAY too dark. Don't get me wrong I am not writing on the fly. I have a detailed outline but there were a lot of things I didn't foresee when writing them out fully. a lot of the events feel too dark for what I am going for so I am changing the stakes a bit and that affects the plots. Also, I will be putting the chapters into parts (all of which will be published at once) which is similar to one of my favorite series The Begining after the End by TurtleMe. Their writing style is similar to my own and it was hard to wrap things up so quickly. I'd rather use the extra character space to flesh out events better.
