Woke up with a terrible headache. The pain was agonizing and the room felt like it was spinning. Went into the bathroom looking in the mirror to see that nothing was out of the ordinary. Where did this headache come from? Out of pain I closed my eyes and as I did, I felt something warm going down my upper lip. Opening my eyes I saw my nose was bleeding, but something was wrong. I was bleeding, but it was black and not red. Wiping off my face, I smelled the blood and...oil.

 A sharp pain shot through my body making me nearly collapse to the floor. I slowly made a attempt to walk back into the bedroom but the pain continued to worsen. My insides felt like they were burning and tearing. My nose began to bleed again and my tears felt thicker than a normal tear. My tears too were oil. All I could smell was blood and oil. My left arm began to hurt in a way I never felt before. I looked down to see my skin become discolored from mysterious bruising. Then out of nowhere I felt my skin began to tear and out from it was a mysterious metal shard from metallic plating. I looked over the rest of my body to see the same bruising occurring until finally whatever was within claimed me. 

My body became both flesh and machine. Becoming nothing more than interlocking parts in a system of mysterious workings which I have no control over or no knowledge of what I became. All I could think of is the voice I heard in the conclusion of my transformation telling me to rise and to follow.
