What happened to me? My entire body feels sore and my mind feels numb. I can hardly remember what happened yesterday, except for one detail.
"Mate?!" I croaked out, instantly sitting up. Where is she? Where is she? Where is she-
"Alpha, I highly suggest you relax," A familiar man with olive green eyes tried to push me back onto the mattress.
"Where is my mate?" I stood up, snatching the collar of his shirt while glaring at him.
"You mean the rogue who tried to murder you? She retreated into the woods," He pulled himself out of my grip.
"Rogue?" My eyes went wide. Not once did I ever consider the possibility that my mate would be a rogue? "She's a rogue, that explains why I haven't been able to find her."
"Wait, are you sure that rogue - the one who tried to murder you - is your mate?" His question forced a growl out of me.
"Yes, unfortunately she is my mate," I stated.
'You think it's unfortunate to have a mate who is strong enough to overpower an alpha?' Axel snarled.
'No, I think it's unfortunate to have a mate who tries to kill me,'
'Bastard, she only did that because you scared her,'
'How did I scare her?'
'Probably with your stupidity,'
'Will you just shut up?'
'Yes alpha,' He rolled his eyes, mocking me.
"Cole, are you done having a conversation with your wolf?" Oliver asked.
"Yeah, I'm done with that bastard. We need to go get a hunting party of our best trackers and warriors together,"
"Well, first we have to check you out of the hospital, then we have to go explain that you've been unconscious all this time to the other alphas so they won't get offended you haven't greeted them yet."
"What? How long have I been unconscious?"
"Only a few hours. Don't worry, after we deal with everything else we can go punish and lock up the rogue who did sent you here,"
"Punish? Lock up?" It nearly came out as a growl.
"I know she's your mate, but she broke the law," Oliver sighed. "She attacked alpha unprovoked, which is a crime punishable by death,"
"I am not killing her," I growled. Axel began fighting for control, wanting to kill him for even suggesting that.
"It's death or prison," He stated.
'Tell him she wasn't attacking you, unprovoked,'
'If I did, I would be lying to my beta,'
'No, you wouldn't be. You snuck up on our rogue mate - who clearly didn't understand the mate bond - and attempted to drag her home with us against her will. You provoked our mate, so it would be unfair for her to deal with the consequences of your stupidity,'
'I can't believe I'm saying this, but you're right,' I winced at those last few words.
'I'm always right,'
"She wasn't exactly unprovoked, the situation's complicated," Oliver's eyebrows rose at my words.
"Oh, really? Explain,"
"Alright, I need a glass of water first though," After he got my water I told him every detail I could remember, telling the story in her favor.
"Okay, I think I understand, except for one thing. Why did you try to abduct your mate?"
"I wasn't abducting her, I was just trying to bring her back home,"
"Uh-uh," He rolled his eyes.
"Watch it. Go kick the other packs out, while I get the hunting party together. We meet at the border in 15 minutes,"
"Yes alpha,"

We've all heard stories of rogues who are "wild", but what about rogues who are completely feral? Rogues who are more wolf than human. Wild isn't a strong enough word to describe Sirena Rhea. She was abandoned in the woods as a child, and had never heard of mates before. The only thing she grew up knowing was survival of the fittest. So what happens when the moon goddess pairs up the savage girl with a tamed, prideful alpha? Well, let's just say it isn't pretty...
!Warning, graphic and violent language. Sample of what it looks like below \/!
"Why are you attacking me?! I'm your mate!" He growled. Aggression, I could sense it in his voice. If I don't kill him now, he'll kill me. I catapulted him off, making his body hit the ground with a thrilling thud. Without hesitation, I got on top of the man and tore into his stomach. I didn't want to waste my energy, so I left him there to die. I forgot about him, until he came back and locked me away in a cage...
