"Once again he is all alone." 

Coming home from work is the most exciting thing but at the same time the most fearful event for Lance. Excited because he can finally see his husband after a day of exhausting work, fearful because he is afraid that his secret is out in the open. 

For five years, he lives in a roller-coaster of emotions. Feeling Love, fear, sadness, happiness then fear again. 

The day start as his every day life, Lance goes to work, meeting clients, attending the many meetings and dealing countless paperworks, he works efficiently and diligently. It is just another normal and boring day for him so he is looking forward to going home. 

Imagining Noah greeting him with a bright smile, he would kiss him making his weary body be energize again. After asking his day, Noah would present him his newest creation. 

At the present, Noah is obsess in learning how to cook so Lance became his taste tester. And Lance, at first is sceptical is quickly conquer by Noah cooking. The boy can cook. 

Thinking about Noah makes him want to return home more. 

At exactly 5:30 pm, Lance arrives at home, for him to be greeted with emptiness. 

This isn't the first time that he came home that Noah isn't back yet. He loved Noah too much to restrict him in having a life. Noah, with him having been born with a golden spoon on his mouth, is a volunteer in the orphanage. 

Every other day, he would be with the sisters helping them in cooking and looking after the childrens so it is a no brainer that Lance is the orphanage's biggest sponsor. 

Noah would sometimes return late when he wanted to help the sisters in preparing supper or if the children wanted him to read stories before bed. Sometimes he would opt to sleep with the children. 

But, every time that it would happen, Noah would always text Lance first and typically Lance would stay overtime in the office to avoid coming home to an empty nest. 

This time, Lance didn't receive any message, Noah didn't text. 

His nightmare happened. 

The stillness is deafening. Lance felt so empty, the void Noah fills in his life become empty again, so empty in fact that he can see the bottom cracking.

Once again, just like his life before Noah came, he is again all alone.
