AAROHI (POV)...

It's been two day's since we brought home a unconscious man with a snake, a King Cobra latching on to him. At first I was truly surprised but than I understand one thing that somethings are behind human understanding.

If you ask why thought that? That simple_ A nineteen years hold girl saw a big 9 feet? Long King Cobra sticking to a man but didn't screamed her wits out and not even bit scared about this odd situation is really a SURPRISE to  myself. And more importantly I could feel it with in me that neither of them meant any harm!?

2 Day's Back...

We, I mean my family of 8 people. Yeah we are a big family considering in this day and age— I think it's a bit uncommon as the generation in this 21st century wants to have neutron family, a husband, a wife and a one child. Ana girl and that too they only want a boy. I really wonder some times, if everyone wants a boy not and not a girl and  keep abusing the innocent girls giving them living hell experience. I really want to know one when all the girls on earth will cease to existence and only men were left.

When that time comes what these idiots going to do. Will start experimenting on how to get men pregnant? I bet they will do it as they won't have any other choice. Unless the woke up and respect women race and of 'course those women who have self respect change themself from sinking deeper into the abyss.

Ok, enough preaching. As we going back to home in Ananthagiri hills from shopping for 'Ughadi' in 'Hyderabad'. On our way I felt something like a calling! NO!! That's not true but YES! As I'm saying I sat by the window which love to do. I saw that a person was laying on platform of the other side of the road many vehicles have crossed that person but no one cared at least stop and take a look if that person is still alive?

Our jeep was going really fast, my father who heard the news said that no one stepping out of the house after we get in  to which no one objected. I kept looking at that person departing feeble figure in the darkness of the setting sun until that person out of my site. A few minutes passed but I couldn't shake of the picture of motionless figure.

"Anna turn around at the next crossing!!"I shouted.

"Why?" He asked.

"Someone is in need of help," There it is. The next crossing. "Now, please turn around!"

With jerk Anna did an action movie stunt to compile with my unreasonable request. And we were back to the place and I saw, a man. Laying there in vegetative state, on his left shoulder. Without waiting motion to end I was already jumping out of the jeep. Rushing to his side saw, something out of this world.

I don't think he's older than me more than one are two years but the glow he had and it radiating from him was immense, he complexion looks week but it's still their. Kneeling beside him before I could register what I'm doing my extended closer to him. Just few centimeters away from touching him with tips of my fingers. Just to check his plus though.

"HISSS..."  An un-invited guest greeted me unannounced.

"Ahaa_" I heard Madavi, my Vadhina (It means sister-in-law) scream.

"God! SNAKE!?" Anna shouted who stepped out of the jeep pulling me away. Me being the ME didn't budged much even his strength. I wriggled out of his hold. During which I never brake the eye contact with the creature.

Some odd reasons I thought of different scenario's inside of my head, 1.Like in those movies where main actress marries a an of her dreams only when villain's venomous eyes the caught up yo the pair separating them with a curse and,! But in this case maybe girl was cursed_

2. Maybe it was a young man's brother and cursed waiting for his bride_? Wait they both are similar? Okay I watch too many movies.

3. If it was passing by and discovered by him or hm by it? Biting him leaving him to his fate, it shouldn't bother lurking around. Right?

4. But in truth, the strange thing is that the snake seems to have NO plan to hurt the man. Instead its protecting him?

The conclusion, "He's the master of the snake!,"

"Ah? Where's the rest of it?" Anna asked, "I cant see the tale even if squint up on my toes!"

It seems a it came out from the nuke of his neck but the rest is nowhere to been seen. "I'll try to and see?" I said "Maybe it's in the back side"

I extended my hand once again despite the protest of my family but this time its different.

"It's okay!," I said. "I'm not going to hurt him!"

"Hisss...?"

"Seriously!?" An irritating voice came from behind. "Now your talking to a snake too?"

"If you have any better idea please help" I said, turning to her "If? You have the thing to think first!" Hearing me, her face contorted in something—, I'm too kind to say it out.

Ankitha, My sister Her father abounded after her mother death giving birth to her. My father who was a friend of that man who lost his heart along with his wife never became man again until his last breath seeing his daughter laugh. This truth she never known nor will ever.

But recently for some odd reasons she targeting me to get back the attention of our parents and other family members. And the so called reason is, recently I talked to our neighbors PARROT. By which I helped them to capture a thief. And the thief's were the close family friends of the neighbors. Although they put the parrot to sleep by giving it some of it's favorite biscuits along with something extra to it. The parrot still remembered who give them to it. It's the first time I talked with a parrot and I don't know if I could talk with other animals? It's an ability of ancient people had times or mostly like a forgotten skill, 'Sakalajeeva Bhasha Vedi' That's what it's called. I never had it from birth but now I do although it was only a parrot but that made my family very exited but not her. She's such a drama queen who seeks attention all the time.

But today in modern time they call it being psychic. My psychic powers developed to the point that I could understand the parrot by which the police caught the criminals. everyone thought the parrot is the reason as my parents wished that I may attract bad people. So, they didn't tried to clarify the misunderstanding.

Coming back to the present task, the King Cobra sticking close to the man refusing to move away. "Let me help. I can take him with us home. He will be safe there. Trust me!" I don't knew this new knowledge is of only with parrots or apply to all animals.

"Hisss..."

It twisted it long neck to the man and back at me as if debating whether to trust me or not. "It's really cold out here."I said smiling. "I can really help him. My Vadhina is a doctor and she will treat him!" I tiny eyes looked behind me looking Vadhina.

"Hisss...?"

"Yes I'm a doctor and I can treat him back to good health" Vadhina said noticing the gaze from the creature. "You know it's not safe outside as they talking about a virus? So, come with us"

"Hisss..."

"See! Now let my brother help in the jeep. Common!," I motioned it to make a move.

"Hisss..." It hissed at me and moved its small head up and down which I assume that it saying yes, surprisingly which it did and crawled towards jeep.

"Hisss..." And hissed once again.

"I think its asking us to hurry" I said to my brother. I helped him to get our unconcsious stranger in side the jeep. One thing is clear that I can not understand what it saying though, but I think it can understand me.

"I'm Not sitting with. He's stinks!" She said receiving an warning hiss from his little pet. "I-I just w-want to sit in front seat?"

"Your wish!" I said. As soon he's secured in the King Cobra didn't wasted a second and climbed on to his lap an on to his neck hissing at him, nudging.

Stink? Ankitha said he's stinking but I don't smell anything awful? Rather he smell good! Good in a sense as of a mix of fresh sandal rose and jasmine. The more you intake the more you want it. Not just his complexion his aura is different and_? It's not something to be said in merry words humans.

"Is your nose still working?" Ankitha asked "I mean, I really worried about you seeing that you give way your window seat for him?" She's astonished at the fact that I'm not moving a way from him or more like moving in closer to him.

"He's not!" I said "Anna , do you smell it?" Vadhina shakes her head that she's not smelling anything. "If your curious come and check yourself"

"NO thanks." She took a look at him before saying. "He's a good looking I will take care of after he took a bath" She said with a goofy smile to which I rolled my eyes.
