"Ankitha?" Vadhina sounds frustrated by our constant small bickers "Don't try to hit on a sick and that to a stranger? We're just taking him home treating him after he's better he'll be on his way where he came from, understood?"

"Yes! But? What if he got no where to go?" She responded surreally. "And all he got is that King Cobra! Then what?"

"That we will decide when he woke up," She's on the edge as Ankitha was about to say something again she given a skeptical look and said "Now keep quiet!!! And no one will mention about the snake, got it?"

"Yes!!!" Every one replayed in unison.

"But we can't hide it? Can we?" Ankitha asked a really good question which is really helpful. To think of a solution I thought of many but couldn't come up with any thing. Then suddenly a thought came into my mind on it's own that what we saw was not a snake and it's squirrel with a injured feet. The next second Vadhina asked even a strange question which confusing me further.

"How is the squirrel doing?" Then I turned my head to look for the said 'squirrel' but didn't find it anywhere. Looking back at her she shook her head in the direction of the man beside me. I mean on to his lap.

Then I saw the snake on his lap which kept nudging at him in hopes of him waking up but it did not happened. Okay it's truly confusing!?!? But let's leave it till we get back home. Two and half-N-hour later we reached home and my parents who were waiting for us to get home were standing outside of gate worried.

"What took you so long? They have repeatedly saying that no one to go out of the houses unnecessarily and all the schools companies are shutting down and you took so long to get home?" My sweet mother Gouri Devaduthi clearly showing her anger the movement we stepped out of the jeep.

"Amma!," Anna stepped to our rescue "Amma_? Please let us explain. We left the second you called us to," He said but interrupted by Amma.

"Then what took so long?" She scooped her laser sharp eyes at each and everyone of us.

"It's because of Akka!" A voice which I feared the most sounded too joyful rang through my ear drums. "Because of her we are late" She looked at me with cunningness in her eyes.

Amma she's looking with sceptic of varied meanings with in her eyes which focused only at me. Trying to read through the multiple options of excuses which are currently running in my brain. Then she asked with a? "Aarohi, what happened child?" With a fondness in her tone overflowing which is overwhelming me. And also jealousy over to Ankitha.

"Ah_?" I stumbled for words in wonder by the 180° change she took. "Amma the thing is, While we are returning the traffic was too much than it normally does. And than when finally we managed to crossed that maze, Sigh!?" I took a breath. "On our way I saw someone collapsed on the platform and we had to take a U-turn to get back to them."

"Really? How is_ How are they doing?" My father, Shekar Devaduthi. Who kept quite from the beginning to till now finally spoken. I nearly forgotten that he's still their standing before us if he hadn't talked at all.

"Nanna? That, he's still unconscious though" I said. "I asked Vadhina to check on him at home so she didn't yet?" I saw the color on their faces changing once again and, yeah so does Ankitha's in rejoices that they will finally get angry at me and scolds me. Yup my sister one and only wish is that me being reprimanded by my parents at least once. Since I was a child I was never a difficult child unlike my sister Ankitha she's a really and really a big 'TROUBLE MAKER' of the family.

I, seriously want to give what she's wishing for but believe I tried my best you know at least for my parent get angry at me. In the end I never succeeded in the task. But maybe this time it will be a rewording one to put her heart in rest.

"See, I told you that not do unnecessary things!," Nanna unfolded his hands boosting her further "And you know what Nanna, he was laying beside a dumpster and stinks like, oh god!?"

Okay, she's having the fun of her life. But a little too much don't you think, I wouldn't do if I remember the 9 feet King Cobra!?

"Let's see. Since you brought him till here we will take care of him until is all good and he's on his own" He stopped and looked at Vadhina and said again, "Be careful Madavi, you know what they said in the news?" Nanna given a known look with an underline meaning behind it, and to which Vadhina nodded her head in agreement.

And to which I didn't objected either I just want to help him get better and healthy. I fine if they let him stay till then.

"I have no objection too Nanna." I said. "Will you help to take him inside, you know he's sick and it's cold out here"

"Okay let's take him in, come Hari" He stopped and looked at me and asked, "He's not really stinking?"

"Nanna? I sat beside him holding him in place. He is not stinking at all!" I whisper yelled at him. To which he looked at me for a second with a blank expression and given me nod before opening the door to side where he's sitting. Just when he was about to open the door, two main thing clicked in my mind.

1. There is a 9 feet King Cobra inside him.

2. And for some odd reasons Ankitha did not mentioned this to our parents. With this thought I looked back at Ankitha who is giving off the aura of some wicked witch with much wicked smile at me.

"THIS GIRL_!?" I almost screamed out in anger but held it in. I was worried they may don't take him in because he got snake pet, specially Amma who always had this 'Never trust anyone and ever so strangers' attitude in her blood will never allow this.

I mentally preparing my self to fight with them. But nothing happened? Anna was looking at me similarly as I'm looking at him with confusion filled our faces. 'The snake is nowhere to be seen?' Was what written on our blank feces.

I walking one step at a time but Ankitha moved faster than me pushing me and Anna to a side "What? Where is it?" She screamed, "It should be sticking to him like super glue? Where is it?"

"What is it?" Amma who stood a little back from us asked, "Was there something else you are missing to tell us?" She's folded her arms over her chest and giving her ultimate questioning look which is as terrific as being caught by the warden in a hostel while jumping the wall for one's favorite movie in the middle of the night.

"He got a pet" Ankitha said "A PET!?" Should I be glad that she didn't said it's a snake or that she rose the suspicion raider of Amma's even higher than which it was already? I don't know anymore_!?

"Yeah! He has a pet." She said, "And you know what it is? It's a S_ Mmm!?" Was about to say and I clasped my hand over her mouth.

"Squirrel! It's a Squirrel. It was injured one of it's leg" I said hurriedly. "And will take care of it. You know because it's been shouting to help it's master, I heard it's pleases and decided to help them"

"Really!? Now you can hear other animals too!?" She was more happy than I expected to be "That's wonderful!! We have to celebrate it" She said and gone inside probably to make some sweets.

"It's good that now you can talk with other animals but be careful not expose it to anyone" Nanna said and "I don't mind feeding two more heads. Now where is it gone?"

"Don't worry we will look for it" I said while holding Ankitha "You two take him in first" With a smile.

They nodded there heads and with care they took him inside while holding his each of his hands over there shoulders left and right. I watched them till they gone inside.

"You? You lied?" Her eye almost popped out in shock "I can't believe it? Why?"

"Ankitha_!? I know your two minutes younger than me. So, as your Akka finally I will be able to grant you you're long last wish"

"What?"

"I mean you want Amma Nanna to get angry at me which I want to too. And I really want to help him if they knew about the pet thing they may will not" I said, "So, keep quiet about it. When he gets better and everything fell back to normal both of our wishes will come true"

I looked at her and finally asked "Do you agree with me?"

"Yes, okay deal" She agreed. "I trust you on this AKKA!"

One was taken care of and now left is WHY EVERYONE TAKING ABOUT A SQUIRREL? WHILE I CAN SEE A 9 FEET KING COBRA ON BESIDE HIM???
