When I was done with all of my homework I walked over to Thia and took the story I had been writing out of her hands.
“Heyyyyy.” “Why did you do that.” she said looking at me.
“I'm about to start checking the spelling and grammar now.” “So, I need to have it. You can read one of my other books, one of the ones that are already published.”
“Yeah, but they’re all just wordsss. I wanna read something with pictures, like the one you and writing right now.”
“... You just reminded me to finish with the drawing in it too.” “Thanks…”
“Your welcome! I’m actually a pretty good drawer myself, so I can help you a little!”
“Sure.” I looked through the draft looking for one of the pages with the drawing of the main character, Maya, on it. “Here.” I said handing her the page.
“You want me to draw this?”
“Yes.”
“But it's so complicated…”
“You're the one who wanted to help, now I have a few scenes that you can draw her in.”
