The day at the office is pretty much dull and boring. There is nothing to do except watch TV and eat food. His owner is too busy doing paper works and attending meeting that by the end of the day, Cole somehow crammed all the foods from the snack bars and his owner's private fridge in his food pouch. 

Thinking about the secretary's shocked face when they found out the raid pantry makes Cole secretly snickers in delight. 

He never likes the secretary with her high heeled shoes that would create a sound everytime she moves, her perfumed body is making him nauseous and her high pitched flirty voice when talking to Oliver is bothering him. 

Oliver didn't know that the office would be pretty hectic today. But with the death and sickness that is going around, his insurance company is in a big disarray. 

Many people are applying for life insurance but more are here to claim the death benefits of their relatives.

Hence after eating takeaway in the office, As an apology for ignoring Cole, Oliver drove to the supermarket—Cole's new favourite place making the hamster pumped up with excitement. 

Cole found out the place—supermarket when one time, the old butler, afraid that Cole would be bored in the house and would start harassing the maid again, bought the hamster with him on his weekly  grocery trip. 

Since then, the hamster would be super excited about the grocery trip. 

Oliver had just gone to get the trolley when Cole, who is obediently laying on his shoulder the whole time, starts crawling down and rushing towards the aisle making Oliver shout anxiously. 

"Cole, Don't run, just wait up!" 

"Squeak! Squeak!" You're too slow! Hurry up! 

Cole eyed his owner in a displeased manner but decided to wait for him anyway. Oliver would be the one who paid for the groceries so he has to treat him kindly… even for this time only. 

In fact, Oliver was worried for nothing. Cole knows the supermarket like the back of his hands. Besides all the staff are familiar and all take a liking to the hamster so he is safe in the store. 

Walking in the snack section is like a paradise for Cole, pointing here and there. Oliver, wanting to humour the hamster decided to get anything Cole wants, noting to himself to call the vet and ask if the food is safe for the hamster consumption later on. 

Potato chips all in different flavours, Chocolate cookies and chocolate bars, candies, lollies, variety of nuts, dried shrimps, packs of beef jerkys, big bags of gummies, candied dried fruits, two big bags of sunflower, cheese strings, packs of strawberry yogurts, crackers, and granola bars quickly fill up the trolleys. 

Cole even pointed towards the packs of instant noodles and canned foods making Oliver frown but comply otherwise. He really needs to check the nearby food bank after this. 

The two fill Four more trolleys of food and snacks before Cole decides it is enough—for now, before the two go to the checkout lane, With the two maids in tow. With all the stuff, Oliver has to call for a backup. 

For three days, Cole would keep on pestering Oliver in going to the supermarket, every time they would return with foods that can feed an entire army.

 Oliver would always humour his pet thinking that he would donate it all to the food bank after Cole lost interest in the food but that doesn't happen. 

Cole takes on sleeping into the basement/temporary pantry guarding it like his precious treasure. Squeaking is somebody besides Oliver trying to touch anything on his pile. 

The vet called it nesting, when Cole wanted a family, he would save food for his offspring to eat. The vet even advises Oliver to get a female hamster for Cole but the hamster snobs it. 

Just like the previous four days, the owner and pet are once again in the mall. Oliver decided to take a day off of the hectic work in the office and rest but Cole kept on bothering him. Squeaking loudly only stopping when Cole takes him outside. 

But this time around, instead of going to the snacks aisle. Cole started pointing towards the vacuum sealed foods like grains, rice, flour, seeds. Non perishable foods are quickly filling their trolley, boxes of canned goods, packs of biscuits, crackers and many noodles. 

When Cole insists on buying tons of bottled water, Oliver remembers the show he once watched about animal behaviour. Animals have a keener sense of danger. They know something is wrong before human does. 

Trusting his guts, Oliver bought everything Cole pointed to, even buying some first aid kits, medicines, flashlights, candles, butane gas, butane cook sets. 

If there is something wrong, at least he is ready and if Cole is just doing it for fun, then all of the stuff would go to charities
