As the chattering and noisy crowd of students poured out of the school at 3:38 Alex couldn't stop thinking about that blinding white light. Why couldn't anyone else see it? Was Alex the only person who could see it? Was this.. A curse? Alex had an unbelievable amount of questions and was dying to hear the truth and the answers.
Alex was walking absentmindedly foward when she bumped into someone. Alex's books slammed roughly into her chest, stabbing at her stomach. She heard a thump of something falling down to the ground. "oh! I'm so sorry- Wait- James?" Alex stammered. "The one and only," said James.
"James! I've missed you! You didn't tell me you were coming to Warren?" Alex exclaimed. "My family and I decided that we're moving here again," said James. "I've honestly had enough of Chicago, too much snow. It's time that my family moves back here to Vermont." "Good god, Chicago? I forgot you lived there. Hey, how about I take you to my house? We recently moved here actually, back in September." Alex added excitedly.
