At least that's how the story goes in the novel “Happily Ever After”. It’s a well-known and popular fantasy and romance novel. The nice reviews made him start reading it. But! There's just one thing missing! Why isn't it a boy love?! Just why?!?!
Everything is better once it's a BL. Take his precious treasures in his dorm room, for example... They’re great BL novels. His treasure no. 5 and 8 are especially... interesting (sexy). Doesn't the novel's author know that there are dozens of hungry fujoshi and fudanshi waiting for a good BL story?! ...Or waiting for good action- in a BL style, of course. Still, for a hardcore fudanshi like him, “Happily Ever After” is a nice read. The romance plot is a little bit cliche, but the characters are interesting and the story makes him completely immersed inside the novel's world... That's probably why he didn't see the car…
Beep!
CRASH!
Just freaking great... Is our main character going to die? I hope not... Then there would be no story. And this is a really stupid way to die. No, no, he won't die. God, if he dies, I wouldn't have a story to write, and I can't end this one just yet.

As he wakes up, it feels like there’s a knife in Axel's skull. He slowly opens his eyes, blinking the blurry haze away. His site falls upon a fancy gold chandelier, attached to a white ceiling covered in golden designs. The light from outside is making the gold sparkle like a sunset on the water. It's clearly too fancy for a hospital ceiling. He tries to sit up, but after a few seconds, accepts defeat and lies back down. He hears footsteps, then a lady stands over his bed.
“Are you feeling better, Young Master?” the woman asks. Axel has never been referred to as ‘Young Master’ before. In fact, he's almost never been referred to in a fancy title at all! Axel blinks some more, trying to make sense of everything. Is she a nurse? She’s not wearing a typical nurse outfit. She looks more like a maid. More importantly, where is he? What kind of place would have people calling him "Young Master"?
Axel is finally able to pull himself into a sitting position and look around properly. There is blue and gold vertically striped wallpaper covering all four walls. To the right of the bed, there’s a large window with a fancy blue bench sitting underneath it. The room has an air of importance, causing Axel to feel very out of place. Before Axel had the chance to continue his train of thought, someone jumps through the window and bashes his head with a metal pole. At least, that's what it felt like.
"Young Master, I'll go call your siblings. They're very worried about you." These were probably the words that confused Axel the most. He didn't have any siblings. In fact, he was an orphan! “I don't have any siblings,” Axel replied.
“What do you mean, young master?” Why does this girl keep calling me master? Axel thought. I don't know who the hell she is. “Do you remember your name?” She asks. Why is this lady treating me like a mental case? I feel fine. Sort of. Axel didn't answer, so the lady answered for him.
“You are prince Liam Appleton, son of king Issac Appleton, King of hell,” she says. Who-what now? I believe you are incorrect. I am Axel Johnson, the son of someone who I don't know because he left when I was a baby. Axel crossed his arms, preparing to tell this nurse lady off for messing with him, but something didn't feel right. He looks down and his eyes fall upon glorious abs. Those weren't here before. What is going on?!

Once Upon a Time, there was a hardcore fudanshi who got into an accident and ended up in the fairy tale “Happily Ever After”. This person is Axel. Axel, who’s now surrounded by lots of expensive chocolates and teas and magic. The greatest magic of all is the fact that he now has ads. Before all he did was sit on his bed, binge eat and watch anime, so obviously, he was far from a flat stomach. But how did this happen? How the hell did he end up here? And now, along with his abs, he also has horns and a tail! He's literally the prince of hell. Which is a problem.
The second problem that Liam is faced with is his execution, which is scheduled for February 27th, though no one else knows it yet, and Liam definitely isn't mentally prepared to die for a second time this year. Scratch that, it's not an execution, it's an assassination. There's still so many BL’s he's yet to read. The only reason he was assassinated in the first place was because he was a total jerk to his best friend, Sean, the prince of Heaven. So here's his solution: don't become friends with Sean. Even though they're roommates, Axel can just be rude to Sean, but not so rude that he's hated, just rude enough that Sean doesn't want to be his friend. If Axel spends all his time in the library, he'll never have to see Sean. I wish I could say this plan is foolproof, but Axel is a fool, so alas, I cannot.
“Liam!” someone calls. He looked over to see a beautiful girl jogging towards him. She’s wearing a flowy pink sundress and a pink flower crown to match. “Kate!” he called in response. Kathrine is Liam's older sister by 2 years older than him. The only reason he knows this is because the old Liams memories are slowly starting to filter into his brain. Axel stands up and runs off the outdoor patio and onto the grass to meet her halfway. She flings herself into his arms.
“Are you okay?” she asked after a minute of hugging, “You really shouldn’t be outside just yet.”
“I’m fine,” he responds, “I just need some fresh air.”
“Nooooooo brother! You must rest!” someone yells behind them. They turn to see Liam's second sister, Viviane, running towards them. Vivian is the oldest. She’s 5 years older than Liam, and apparently, she’s a bit, no, extremely overprotective.
“Viv, I’m fine. Calm down,” Axel says.
“My poor baby. Are you sure you’re okay? I don’t believe you,” Vivian coos, hugging Axel from behind and petting his hair.
“I have to agree with Viv on this one,” Kate says thoughtfully, “you did take a really hard hit to the head. I told you not to run in the forest. Tree roots are popping up left and right.”
“Right,” Axel agrees, “It won’t happen again. I’m sorry for making you two worry.” When nobody says anything, he continues.
“Anyway, I will be leaving for school soon, so I’m going to start packing.” As he walks away from his siblings, he silently congratulates himself.
Good move! You can’t be around them for too long or they’ll figure out something’s wrong. Behind Axel's back, Kathrine and Vivian turn to stare at each other in awe.
"Did he say pack?" Vivian asks.
"That lazy buffoon?" questions Kathrine, "Does he even know how to pack?"
