I used to get locked in a shed a lot because I was a “bad” child, sometimes an hour, maybe a day without food, and sometimes I went there to hide. It was every kid's worst nightmare but this… was relaxing.

The only thing I hated was the bugs, but bug spray got rid of that.

I was asleep when my alarm on my phone buzzed and dingzz

“Times up” I knocked on the door of the shed, and sometime later a tall woman with thin short hair and raggy clothes with beer and food stains, my mother. She grabbed me by the arm pulled me up so I didn't get smashed when the door thru close, my mom was harsh and hated me and my sister, she said we were hard work and we should be grateful that we have a family, but the only one she loved was my sister, I would do anything to get rid of her But I dont wanna kill her, that would break my mother.. break my mother….

It's not like my sister loves me any more than my mom, it would be best if both were gone.

I snap back to the situation I'm in

“Did you have fun?” my mom said still tightly holding my arm

“Sure” I growled

She laughed she knew I hated being there well sometimes,

 “it's not funny” I whispered 

“If you won’t laugh at my jokes feel free to go back in!” she screamed, and threw me back in, my back slammed against the shelves, and pain shot through my body. The door slammed shut and the lock turned and for the 3rd time today, I was in the shed once again.
