"They don't sell that many," I added, "so I'm having him help me gather them. I'm paying him though." I happily said.

He gave me this serious look, he's not angry, but, still it's making me feel uneasy. I took a spoonful of the strawberry cake and placed it in my mouth. 

"Why didn't you tell me about it?"

"YOU DON'T" I shouted as I forced to push her hand away from me. "NEED TO HUMOR ME ANYMORE...!"

I felt my whole world went to slow motion as I saw her fall towards the chaid when I pushed her away from me.

My whole world stopped as I saw blood drip from her head and for the first time, saw her open her eyes.

I told myself as I didnt noticed the blood dripping down the side of my face.

Cyrus quickly hugged me as he softly held the back of my head into his arms.

"Cy--rus..." I'm confused.

"Sorry, wait! I have to call an ambulance." I quickly dialed the nearest hospital, 15 minutes walk from our school. "Does it hurt anywhere else?"

"Sorry." he kept on repeating over and over again. 

"N--No it's my fault for suddenly slipping."

He placed a hand on my eyes and whispered. "Close your eyes." which I obliged then I felt his lips on mine as my consciousness slowly disappeared.

I placed a hand on her eyes and whispered to her. "Close your eyes." she obeyed me then I placed my lips on her as I felt her breathing slow down, indicating that she's asleep. 

She was assisted by the senior scouts and red cross committee and that's when I noticed her broken phone on the floor.

I entered her room I was about to knock on the door when I saw this guy with brown eyes, just like Asteria's eyes walk out the room and gave me this weird and cold stare which surprised me. 

He looks like he's 26.

I sat beside her bed as she greeted me happily with a "Hello" awkwardly, which I just smiled as a reply. I placed her phone on the bed.

"... Asteria..." I started, "your phone..."

"N--no way." she said panicking. "What should I do?"

"My data." she murmured. "My pictures of Cyrus. I haven't backed them up..."

I couldn't hear anything else but tye only thing that I know at that moment is that she started tearing up as she continued to fiddle the phone with her hands.

Ahh, it's all over.

I felt my breathing and hand shake.

Everything is over.

I closed my eyes and clenched my teeth.

Just like before, all I'm doing is hurting her.

I lowered my head as I tried to touch her face. "Asteria..." she looked up at me but decided on stopping before I could even touch her. I clenched my hand as I took a deep breath.

"Let's break up."

"... Pretending to forget" I said as I held both of her hands and intertwined her finger with mine, "or acting like it never happened when we started dating"

Cyrus said as he held my hands while lying down on his bed, his other hand covered his eyes.

"So the phone call from Irene or the memo I saw," I just sat beside him with my legs on my chest, staring at him flustered. "They all unfortunately happened at the same time."

"The both of us should have just asked" he said sheepishly "I was scared that our current relationship would fall apart..."

The fact that Cyrus liked me ever since high school or that he acted coldly because he couldn't accept those feelings made it especially hard to believe what he was saying.
