The same day that night 

After that fight, Sintan was aided by a mage doctor and his cut was quite deep. 

The doctor suggested that he should rest for a few days. 

After the fight we can't tell what Sintan was feeling, he felt insulted, worried, he was furious, he was sad, etc, we don't know.

All we know is that he stopped talking after that.

He was in his room sleeping. 

Woodwill entered the room saw him sleeping, so he decided to come back afterwards, he didn't want to wake him up,

but Sintan heard someone, so he asked 

" Who is it?"

"It's me Sintan".

"What do you want?"

"Nothing just here to talk ... I heard what happened"

"Good .. saved me the trouble"

"I guess I understand what you sensed in Zenith. 

You didn't sense just potential, did you?"

Chuckled*

"So you get it. Even yesterday I knew something was wrong when he caught up so fast. 

It's like he already knows everything." 

"Quite strange"

"Hell lot of strange"

" What do we do now, Sintan?"

"I don't know

If I fail to control him or he gets out of my hand, I will have to kill him." 

( He said that with disappointment)

"I don't know what it is but I feel kinda bad for it."

" I understand I feel the same way" 

They both chuckled together. 

The chuckle they did was not funny, it was out of disappointment. 

On the other hand, there was Zenith who was happy but shocked and hurt. 

"How can grandpa do this to me? 

He used to say he loves me.

But now I don't think it's the same. 

I hurt him. 

That too very badly, should I apologize?

I think it's not right to apologize because it was his fault, but I want to apologize because I wanna correct this awkward situation. 

Maybe I will ask mom once?

But besides everything else what is this thing on my finger? 

I grew up wearing this and today it did something. 

It helped me, not only physically but it was like it told me what to do. 

It changed me for a while there. 

I was thinking differently. 

Is there a chance that I can use this thing of my own will? 

Will that be possible?"

He laid down on his bed and kept staring at the ring and said 

"It looks so powerful". 

------Sunrise--------

It was a sunny morning. Zenith came out of his room and saw Sintan sitting on a chair.

"Good morning Zenith"

He said that with a smile.

"Good Morning grandpa"

He said that with an awkward tone. 

"I wanted to talk to you about something.

So can we?" 

"Of course"

"So firstly I would apologize for my actions"

"Me too grandpa, I am sorry"

"You did what you had to do.

I was the one who pushed you, but let's cut it out for now. 

You may have defeated me but that doesn't mean that you are strong, you are still learning.

You are quite familiar with a sword but then too you must practice more but besides that, 

I would like to advance on level 2."

"Level 2? What's that?"

"To learn how to counter magical attacks

Have your breakfast and meet me at the yard with your sword. "

"Okay grandpa"

As soon as Zenith completed his breakfast he rushed to the yard with his sword and Sintan was already standing there. 

"Good you are here now.

So let's start with the training but before that, you must know some basic things about magic.

There are 2 main types of magic. 

Fire magic

and 

Water magic.

Though my magic is quite an exception. 

I have mastery over both water and fire magic but also an extra element,

I named it myself 

'Sword magic'.

You can't tackle magic with your sword or any other weapon but there's a simple catch to that.

Give me your sword."

Zenith handed his sword to Sintan, he held the sword with both of his hands and closed his eyes.

Soon he opened his eyes.

" Now, I have imbued your sword with my mana. Now you can counter magical attacks with your sword. "

"Woahhh"

"Since you are quite fast to catch up I will just have to tell you this rather than showing it. 

I will form an arrow with my Sword magic and you will have to cancel it with your sword by clashing it. 

You got it?".

" There was no need to explain it. It was quite obvious"

" Chuckle Huh! As expected, so let us begin, to take your distance and stance"

"Alright"

He formed an arrow with his magic and threw it towards Zenith. 

Zenith focused on the arrow, aimed for it, and struck it with his sword. 

"Good one.

We will do it one more-----"

"Grandpa this is boring, at the start you used to say fighting is the real deal, then let's fight"

"You like taking risks don't you?"

"Damn right"

Both of them chuckled. 

"Form yourself I am gonna have dozens of arrows raid on you, get a glimpse of my magic"

"Bring it on old guy" 

"SWORD MAGIC 

Zenith was waiting for the attack but he saw no arrows formed.

"Old guy, where are the arrows? You were gonna attack, weren't you?"

"Didn't you hear? It's BALDE RAIN, lookup"

When he saw above him he saw that Sintan had an army of arrows formed right above Zenith. Zenith got shocked and exclaimed

"WHAT!!!"

"You lost before even getting started 

GO"

Arrows started moving forward towards Zenith 

And he had no idea what to do.
