~ Kirishimas P.O.V ~

The first thing I noticed when I woke up is that it was dark, cold, and damp. I sat there a minute, as the events form last night flood my mind. Then I instinctively started to look for Leodia as I remembered where we were.  Looking to each side frantically, I then saw her in my lap, curled up in her blankets. 

"Oh thank god shes still here!" I exhale in relief. I then hear a shuffling from the caves entrance. I gently put  Leodia down, careful as to not  wake her up. I shift into a dragon, and pick her back up in my jaw I walk towards the entrance of the cave suddenly very aware of my surroundings. 

I hear the unmistakable "shink" of a blade being unsheathed, and I pounce on the intruder.

As I jump on top of him, he swings his arm and the blade of the sword nicks my right arm. I wince at the pain. Putting more pressure on his arm it snapped, and run away. It all had happened so fast it was almost like it never happened.

Out of the corner of my eye I could see another man with a shocked expression, but that didn't bother me. I just kept running as realization suddenly flooded the mans face, but only for a minute before it was gone. Then his face was replaced with fear and anger, and started running after me. 

~ Other knights P.O.V  ~

I saw as my best friend was pinned to the ground. 

I saw as the beast broke his arm.

I saw as he writhed in pain.

And I couldn't do anything! I just stood there like an idiot! I felt so stupid as soon as the dragon had bolted my shock turned to fear then boiling hot rage! I ran after the dragon like my life depended on it. I had to get revenge for my best friend.

I just had to! 

After all he was my best friend and friends do this type of thing for each other right? I mean sure my heart beats fast around him, and my face always feels hot whenever we touched, but I could only think of him as a friend right? I mean even if I didn't and I liked him more than a friend he just thought of me as a friend, so letting my mind wander right now would do me no good. 

When I had finally snapped out of my thoughts I realized that I had lost sight of the dragon. I silently cursed myself and went back to my comrade.
