You open your eyes and see sunlight streaming through the tree branches. As you start to get up, your shoulder and leg sflair in pain. You shout, dropping back onto what seems to be a pile of clothes and leaves. Black spots dance on the edge of your vision, and you hear someone approching.

"Jade?" you call out, and there she is, half naked, standing over you.

"Oh good. You're finally awake."

"I... where is your shirt?"

"Your laying on them. A lot happened since you fainted. The men came, and I ran as far as I could with you. Most of our stuff is gone, but at least we are safe. - As soon as I stopped, I inventoried what we had left. It's not much, but it should save us from starving."

She shows you what is left:

 - 30ft of paracord

 - 7 steel hunting knives

 - 1 handgun

 - 3 empty clips

 - 1 box of .9mm bullets (200 ct)

 - a box of matches

 - 2 backpack (max cap 45lb)

 - a sleeping bag

 - a roll of duct tape

 - 2 camo jackets

 - a half empty bottle of water

"I get the other stuff, but where did you get the sleeping bag?"

"I found it when we were running away, before you got shot."

"I didn't get shot, it just grazed me." you say as you toss Jade her shirt.

"Oh really? then why do you have a hole in your arm?"

"I've had that for a while." you say, laughing.

She gives you a quick kiss, then starts packing up.

"Come on," she says, stuffing everything into the two packs. "We've got to go, yesterdays patrol came quite close to our little camp."
