As soon as the training dummy has been placed in position by the training room, Ayden begins to channel his skill. After a few seconds of preparation, it is possible to observe the characteristic blue rays around his entire body.

Already prepared, with every muscle in his body potentiated and responding efficiently, he launches himself towards the target.

With his Body enhancement skill, he can achieve an incredible speed of 15 m/s, something that a professional Olympic runner would have difficulty hitting.

Already facing the puppet after the drag, Ayden throws a punch directly in the trunk of his target, who, after the impact, is pushed a distance of one meter.

But that was all he got.

"F@#$! My hand!" exclaimed as he waved his right hand with a tearful expression.

After all, it is not for nothing  that these dummies were programmed to withstand strong blows and skills.

Ignoring the pain in his right hand, he continues to attack the doll with punches and kicks. Obviously, because he is inexperienced, he does not perform them professionally or with any specific technique.

After about ten minutes, Ayden is sitting on the ground of the room, without the projection of the sunny greenfield and with red stains coloring the white floor and training dummy.

He punched the doll so much that his hands started to bleed! But as incredible as it may seem, he's not caring too much about the injuries.

Even though he is completely drenched in sweat and with bruises on his fists and legs he has a smile on his face. And the reason for that?

As much as he is extremely exhausted and in pain around his entire body after reaching the limit of his capacity, Ayden is not disappointed at all. He has gained three more status points and progress in his ability with a negative level, which is already an outstanding achievement.

He also managed to feel that after using his innate ability for ten minutes to the extreme, something was going on, but he doesn't quite know what exactly. Ayden would need to repeat this process again to unriddle this reaction.

No longer even able to sit still, he lets himself fall to the floor entirely, lying down and moments later fainting from tiredness.

After a while... Ayden wakes up.

The first thing he does is look at his watch, which starts showing the current time, 5 pm.

Seeing that a lot of time has passed since the beginning of his nap, he decides to leave the training room and go to the infirmary to heal his wounds.

Arriving at the infirmary, he meets the same nurse from the previous day, who is surprised to find the young man again at the infirmary so soon.

Curious about the reason, she decides to ask.

"Did you get into a fight or something?"

"No, I was just practicing."

Without questioning more about anything and the youngster's possible aggressive training habits, she decides to perform a quick cure. At the youngster's request, she gives him some bandages.

Even though he has completely healed the wounds in his hands and feet thanks to the nurse's cure, Ayden intends to use these bandages after his future training sessions and use the infirmary only when it is essential. Having to go to the infirmary after every training session would also be very tedious.

After leaving the infirmary, he decides to take a look at the military library before it gets too late, as he intends to get a good night's sleep to recover his energy and prepare for the first combat class.

'If i remember correctly Scarlex said she was going to the library,' he thought.

With the aid of the map of the wristwatch, he starts walking towards the library. The library is a modern one-story building with only one reception and a few tables spread across the open space, with no bookshelves or books at sight.

But this is nothing out of the ordinary since most of the knowledge is now accessible through holograms or digital files. Physical books are a thing of the past, being used only by people who prefer to feel the touch of paper with their skin.

As soon as he approaches the hitherto empty reception, a female figure in augmented reality begins to form.

"Welcome to the military library of Serenity. Here you have access to a giant collection of e-books of various types, be it some kind of technique or even a simple tale or novel!" said the flashy-looking attendant.

"To have access to the e-books mentioned above, just sit at one of the available tables and a projection of the collection will be created for your navigation. The interface is very suggestive and easy to use, even with voice commands. Please feel free," she completed with a charming smile.

At the moment, only a few people are in place, causing several tables to be unoccupied. Without further ado, Ayden walks over to one and sits down, causing the interface mentioned by the attendant to appear before her eyes.

'Let's see if I can find something interesting,' he said inwardly.
