I Was Going To Hell But An Error Got Me Reincarnated

Prologue (Part-2)

Prologue (Part-2)

May 25, 2021

Sho slowly opened his eyes to see the person at the door. Seeing the body structure, one can tell that he was a middle-aged person.

‘I guess he also lives in this apartment. Well, the apartment is too big and I don't know every person living here.’ Shin thought.

He was wearing formal attire, maybe coming from an office party or something.

Their eyes met and he slowly started coming towards Sho.

'Good evening Sir.'

Sho greeted him. He looked pale and sad.
If said bluntly, he was a fat man wearing a pair of glasses. He was like an extra character that people see in manga and anime. Also, they usually are a piece of shit, if not, some dark aura always surrounds them and brings bad luck to everyone around them.

"..."

He didn't greet him back.
As he was coming closer, Sho was able to get a sniff of the light smell of alcohol which soon became heavy as he stood beside him looking in the sky.

'Are you alright, uncle?'

Sho thought of asking if something was bothering him.

‘Well, I won't care even if something was bothering him because that's none of my business.
I am doing this for the sake of formality because there is a possibility of him meeting my parents and I don’t want to ruin it by acting carelessly.’ Sho thought.

Now that he had said everything, it was time to go back because the fat uncle made all the atmosphere awkward.

"Will you stand beside me for a minute, young kid?"

As Sho started moving back, he suddenly called out to him.

‘Eh? Why should I?’ Sho thought.

Not that he could say it out loud. Sho quietly stood beside him looking around the building.
Again the atmosphere was awkward. Sho was moving his eyeballs in every direction to get rid of the crap aura tingling him.

Suddenly, the fat man burst into tears.

‘Tch, I just want to go away from here. But I am not bold enough. I feel like a pushover.’ Sho thought.

'Uncle, please stop crying and tell me what happened?' Sho asked.

He looked at him and started mumbling while crying.

".....none.....f.......ness."

'Um, what did you just say?'

The fatty suddenly glared at him as if trying to threaten him. Then he grinned his teeth and started shouting at Sho.

"I am saying it's none of your business, you bastard."

‘Huh?’

"Don't poke your nose where it doesn't belong."

‘The hell is he spouting? Did he lose his mind from excessive drinking? First, he tells me to stand with him, and now when I did something a normal person would do, he is fucking shouting at me. My mind was already quite disturbed and now this fatty just made it worse.’ Sho thought.

The fatty looked at him.

"I am sorry for shouting at you like this when I was the one who made you stand with me."

‘Is he having some kind of mood swings or what? I don't what will happen to me if I stayed here anymore. I am done with all this bullshit. I just want to go back since I have taken too much mental damage.’ Sho thought.

'I'll be going now.'

Sho said so and started walking back.
This time, the fatty didn't call him back so he looked back one last time to see what was he trying to do. As he looked back he got shivers in my body as he saw the fatty standing on the fence of a 30-floor building.

'What are you doing? It's dangerous.'

He called him out running towards him.

"I guess I am not that strong enough."

He stopped and looked at Sho.

"Don't worry kid, I don't dare to do something like this."

‘And I got worried for nothing. He is just wasting more and more of my time.’ Sho thought.

"I had some problems dealing with, but I think it's not worth jumping from here."

‘Why are you telling me this? Just step down from the fence first, because it's uncomfortable.’ Sho thought.

"Young kid, can you give me a hand cause I don't have a good balance?"

‘It's obvious that your balance meter is broken when you are carrying such a burden with you all the time.’ Sho thought.

Sho started moving towards him. He gave him his hand so that he can jump down but...

'Errrghhhhh......Eeeeeegggghhhh!!'

Sho wasn't able to move his body at all.

‘What does this fatty eat to become this rock-heavy?’ Sho thought.

"Wait let me help you."

The fatty said to Sho while putting all his weight over his hand to fall over Sho’s side.

"Yeah. Like this. Exert a little more force kid."

‘He should analyze the structure of his body before saying those words to someone.’ Sho thought.

He started leaning towards Sho or so was supposed to happen.

'Wait, uncle. Don't put pressure on my hand or we both will fall the other side.'

His weight was already an obstacle and now instead of falling to Sho’s side, he started picking him up.

'Leave my hand uncle, or I will also fall.'

His face started showing signs of anxiety and fear and instead of leaving his hand, he grabbed it more tightly.

‘Damn fatty.’ Sho thought.

'Have you lost your mind fatty? Leave my hand already.'

The shit was getting real. Sho’s mind went blank due to the fear and he released his hand with all of his might.

"No, I don't want to die." The fatty shouted.

While saying those words, he used all his power to get something to lean on but there was nothing to hold.

"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, somebody help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Luckily, his coat stuck on one of the steel rods that were being used for the construction of their apartment's name.

"Huff, huff. Looks like I am saved. Where are you, you miscreant?"

Sho looked at him from the fence.

‘Looks like luck is on his side.’ He thought.

'Blame yourself. You were the one taking me with you when you were about to fall. Don't talk as if you are the victim here.'

"Okay, I understand. Now just get me out from here."

'Wait let me call someone to help you.'

"No don't go. What if I fall before you come back?"

‘Selfish bastard. Although, he has a point. But how will I save him? Now he is stuck in a more dangerous place than before. Hmm, I have an idea.’ He thought.

'Hey, uncle. Now that you have something to hold on to, try to get up a little.'

"But I don't have the energy to do it."

'Damn it. If you want to be saved, then do what I say or just stay there and die.'

"Okay okay. I am trying."

Now it was Sho’s turn. He bent on the fence and crossed his legs between the poles of the fence. This way he won't fall, no matter how heavy the man is. Sho lent his hand to him.

"Won't you fall again, kid?"

'Don't talk and just grab it.'

He grabbed his hand and this time Sho was not the one getting pulled. He started to come up slowly.

"Great idea, kid."

‘Yup, he is almost there.’ Sho thought.

Crack...crraaccckk.

"..."

'...'

‘Damn it. Looks like the rod was not there due to the construction but it was bulging out because this whole fence is a cheaply built farce. Damn building, damn fatty, damn luck, damn everything.’ Sho thought.

While hoping for a miracle, that was not going to happen, they both started falling from the rooftop, and Sho fainted thinking about how right manga and animes can be.

Do you think you can get away from hell? Of course not. We humans don't have that power and authority. But there is someone whose identity and authority both are a mystery. Although he was human like us, who knows what happened to him before and after that. But one thing is clear, hell is inside him but he is still avoiding it.

Tsurumi Sho is a 17-year-old second-year high school student. He was a struggling manga artist or a freelancer who was famous for writing the "worst of the worst" stories. One day, while working on his manga he was accidentally killed by a resident in the apartment who was trying to commit suicide.

When he came to, he was in the middle of nowhere, and in front of him was the gate with the heading-

“WELCOME TO HELL”.
