It was dark here.

He tried standing up but his head hit something like a wall.

'Ouch.'

He tried moving his body here and there to check for the other corners. It looked like he was confined in a transparent box enclosed by barriers from all directions.

But why was he here?

‘Every time I try to relax a bit, someone has to pester me regardless of the place.’ He thought.

‘How can I get out of here?

I don't know why but I feel like pushing aside everything away and just blend with my surrounding. Why did I die? What are they expecting from a 16 yr old to do here? It is so lonely here. I don't want to be alone here. I feel like crying.’ Sho thought as he was getting engulfed by the loneliness.

With a voice full of fear and anxiety, he called out-

'Is anyone here? Can you hear me? It is dark in here.'

"..."

No one answered. Although he was not expecting much but still, he thought that it would have been great if someone replied.

'Is anyone here?'

He started calling out loudly.

'Can you hear me?'

'Knock-knock.'

'Please reply if-'

"Don't shout so loudly, you idiot. I am trying to sleep." A person with a masculine voice shouted.

As he heard his voice, a feeling of contentment ran through Sho’s body.

He was feeling like "I am so glad to be alive". It was not valid for him though.

'Um, who are you, and why am I confined in this little cube?'

"Calm down kid."

"Don't you remember me? Wait, let me get this area a little bright."

A yellow glowing ball started flying above them and started illuminating itself.

‘Whoa, it's like all the darkness is gone. Hmm? This face seems similar. Isn't he that man at the entry gate whom I talked with? What is he doing here?’ Sho thought.

'What are you doing here?'

"Oi oi kid, don't show me that poker face?"

'Huh? What? Didn't you say you were going to some "Ground of depravity"?'

"Fu fu fu..... hahahahahahahaha."

"haha...ha....mmh..hahahahahahahahaha"

'Just stop laughing.'

"Mmh..fu...fu..I mean how are you able to speak something cliche like that with such a serious face"

‘See. He is acting like that again. You were the one who told me that with your never-changing sleazy face. I just want to jab my fist on his dumb face.’ Sho thought.

"I mean you believe that ground of depravity. Well, you are a kid so, maybe it was too much for you..fufufu..."

'Ok stop with that. Tell me why am I captured here?'

"You don't remember anything, do you?

'Did you kidnap me or something or something happened while I was sleeping?'

"I don't have the permission to interact with you but let me fill you up with your current situation a little bit."

He came closer to Sho. He started feeling goosebumps on his hands. He reached Sho’s ear and whispered-

"Your crime is that you injured a soul in the selection void and tried to intrude on one of the entrances by snatching his ticket. Quite brave if you ask me." He said.

He distanced himself after speaking those words.

"Now is the time for the judgment, kid. So best of luck with that." He said showing thumbs up to Sho.
