1 Frist day  

                Monday another new day first day but today’s different I’m a freshman again, new school, new place, and with only that some less than five familiar faces. Head to sit in at the middle very last row. The weather is pretty hot, the heat beats me every time. Putting my hand like a pillow and just rest.

               “Hey hi Ellie, didn’t know were in the same school”

               “Mn, shut up your loud”

               “Hey what’s for rudeness man, I just didn’t come for orientation, say who sit here?”

               “Like I would know”

Another person chime in

               “Someone with the name Kiley, hi nice to meet you, and hi Ellie”

               “Bye”   

               “What’s up with her today shouldn’t first day be more energetic”

               “Na, she’s just lonely, HEY ELLIE YOUR NOT ALONE OK!”

And this some how goes on for a while, well I am out of it, I don’t want to care about other I just want lay low and finish this five year. I hate it, why does our class have to start from the afternoon, is so hot and everywhere I see is blurry. Good now the migraine’s hitting in, I row my head to the left. Is she waving at me?

               “Hey I was waving at you can’t you see me”

               “Oh, hey Lilith”

               “Don’t just oh hey me, is the first day of school be more optimistic”

               “sigh”

               “Right your Hana right”

               “yeah…...”

I didn’t get to hear cuz I lose conscious half way through, the next thing I know was math then Malay class and its lunch. Lunch is half an hour so is plenty to waste, well that’s what I originally planned, but Lilith decided stuck around with me at lunch. Just her present being there makes my whole surrounding hotter, so to say a walking talking sunshine right beside me. She’s so bright till the point I think I might melt.

Walking back form the canteen to our classroom I just peek a bit. She’s slightly taller than me. It was nothing more it was just a peek, why though? I must be getting tried.

“Ellie, do you want to have lunch together tomorrow and the day and week after too”

“Yeah sure, why did you ask?”

“Oh, you know you don’t seem to like it us eating together”

“Oh, sorry do I um look too gloomy”

I tried to put a smile on, it felt weird since I haven’t really smile, I just laugh.

               “Oh, hoho no go back to frowning”

               Ha “Dose it looks so bad?”

               “No, you just look like you’re trying too hard”

               “I guess it can’t be help, I don’t smile much”

               “Then do you think I can make you smile naturally, true smile can lessen the risk of cancer, and I don’t want you to die of cancer”

               “what kind of BS is that”

               “no, it’s true, I’m telling you”

               “sigh, see”

I put on a gentle smile. I don’t know why I feel as my face is sparkling.

               “ah I knew it, see you can smile, now this look more better”

               “ha thanks”

               And we continue on like this for a week now and we also wait for each other before class start and walk out school after school ends. Counting the fact that we sit next to each other and we eventually get closer. After sometime I just got use to it the noise from Hana and Kiley, the small talk and joke from Lilith, this little group of four at the back of our class.

               It doesn’t seem so bad this new year a freshman again, new school, new place, and now with a new familiar faeces and voice.

               “Hey! We can make a family!” Hana spouted

               “Ohh like last year our class?” I ask

               “Yeah, but we’re a group of four”     

               “Look-look Lilith and Ellie, husband and wife”

               “wait what!!” I blush

               “Me and Kiley, the secretly dating girlfriends”

               “I didn’t agree to this” Kiley reply  

               “oh, honey don’t be shy”

               “I’m straight ok”

               And now we are family somehow, Lilith the father witch she doesn’t like the label, me the mother and I question why I give birth for Lilith, Hana and Kiley the weird Irish twins. Well, I don’t play family and defiantly will not respond if any of them call me mommy, mom, or mother but I do respond to Wifee just because.

               Anyway, this family play only lasted for three days. I knew the longest it will last was a week, but Hana still pulls it for three days it was impassive.
