That moment, a nurse came in. "Ah! You're awake!" she exclaimed. "What happened? Why am I here?" asked Alex impatiently. "Well.. Yo- You'll get those answers soon enough." the nurse said hastily. Alex scoffed, and said:

"Why shouldn't I know what happened? I remember there was fire." 

"You sure do jump to conclusions quickly." said the nurse. "Well, a few moments after you passed out-" "I WHAT?!" Alex shouted. Five people scrambled into the room at once. Alex was suddenly staring, frozen, at the people who had just entered. On the far left was James, brandishing a spoon. Next to him, on his left (Alex's right), was Alex's friend, Esme. Next to Esme was Alex's mother. Next to HER was Nathan, as well brandishing a spoon. And on the far right, another nurse stood there. "Why are half of you holding spoons?" asked Alex. "Uh-" Nathan and James said at the same time. They stared at eachother for a second. Alex jumped out of the hospital bed and started walking over to the door.
