They were still giggling and talking about Archer, but I lost interest and zoned out of their conversation, my attention was fully on Archer now, and soon enough, everyone was looking at him excitedly.
A few other knight had already attempted to climb the really steep wall, but no one had succeeded. Archer was up next to the challenge.
He stood with his back to the wall, and looked straight forward... AT ME! A felt a small blush spread across my face and to the tip of my ears. Thank goodness he was so far away.
When it was time to go, he turned towards the wall and pushed himself halfway up with his left foot, then, he pushed himself the rest of the way up with his right foot. When he got to the top, he held onto the ledge and pulled himself up and over.
He sat on the edge while everyone cheered and clapped. I just sat there and stared wide eyed.
How could he do that? He even did it without a run up... Maybe he can teach me?
The whispering started up again.
"Hey, remeber we were talking about advanced school the other day?" A girl with long black hair and dark purple eyes asked.
"Yeah, why?"
"Who was that kid that was always with Archer?" She asked again.
...Me? IT WAS ME!
"The kid with the wierd eyes?" One of the boys asked
ThE kId WiTh WiErD EyEs? Yes, that was my nickname, and I never thought I'd hear that again.
"His name was Robin," A girl with blue eyes and brown hair cut in sharply. She looked familiar. "I'm pretty sure he was going to end up being energy linked to Archer."
Gasps were drawn for the other boys and girls, I winced. Being linked by energy is a very big thing, they have every right to be shocked.
"Where is he now though?"
"Who knows?" She started again." "Most peasants unfortunately don't have enough energy to be used, so they'll most likely be sent to 'Opal Pleasantries'." She seemed tense mentioning the name.
"What's that?"
"A pleasure house." She replied.
"But I thought they were banned ages ago?"
"For humans, maybe," this time, it was the purple eye girl talking. "But the humans hate us, they have no laws against harrassing, abusing, or even murdering us."
"Poor boy."
"It's even worse if they're good looking, which Robin definitely was."
I had to try to get my mind away from the conversation. I tried to look for Archer, and I only noticed him when he was a few metres away from me.
"Do you need anything?" He asked when he reached me. The whispering from next to me died down, and everyone on the field was staring at us.
I shook my head, I didn't want to bring any more attention to myself.
Archer bent down to kiss my cheek. My face flamed red.
They are very light in colour which is pretty much a simbol of higher class, but Robin is a peasant. But these people are so judgy 🙄 like stfu you're just jealous, lmao.
Robin was raised as a peasant in the magical Opal Kingdom. He has jet-black hair like most of the peasant, but his eyes are pale and he lacks the ability to talk, this has resulted in him not having any friends (with Archer as an exception). He developed the powerful gift to detect the difference from each voice he hears. This has lead him to overhear terrible and frightening plans .
Archer was raised to be a skilled knight for the Opal Kingdom. He is tall with a solid build and dark brown hair. Archer was born with the ability to read peoples minds -a very useful power for a knight-. He developed a strong relationship with Robin after he realised Robin could communicate with him telepathically..
The people of Opal were forced to flee suddenly, after a human invasion on the kingdom. The king was slaughtered and many were taken hostage to be used for their power. Those who fled are hidden amongst the humans.
Robin has promised himself that he'll protect his people, and eventually (with the help of Archer) restore the kingdom to it's former glory.

Please be gentle with me, lmao.
I'm still in schools and I'm not a very good writer. Pls let me know if I have any grammar or spelling mistakes.
I hope someone (even just 1 person) will decide to read it, lol.
I'll react to any feedback I get with an open mind, so please tell me what you think.
