Well Shit went south fast. As soon as the gang stepped close to the Property, a bunch of Yakuza Men ambushed them out of nowhere. They were able to take them down pretty easily, as none of those fodder Yakuza seemed to have Mascots. They mostly had to fight without Enjo, as he was busy protecting Gomu throughout the fight.
“Heh...didn’t think Enjo would be the protective Boyfriend type~” Juryoku said, teasingly.
“Shut up.” Was all Enjo said.
“Don’t think it’ll be very easy convincing them we aren’t against them now.” Said Taberu, who was trying to scratch his head with his foot.
“Hey, they attacked first.” Said Fumetsu, as he lit a cigarette.
“Maybe we should just get go-” Kireina started to say, when she was cut off by a bright glow.
In the bright light, a group of eight Yakuza Members appeared.
“Shit.” Enjo said, readying his flames. “These guys are the toughest sons of bitches they have here.”
“Well!” Juryoku exclaimed, excitedly. “I doubt they can beat our TEAMWORK!”
Immediately after, everyone’s surrounded by the same bright glow, and are teleported all across the neighborhood, split up.
“...Fuck.” Said Juryoku, as he looked at his Opponent. He was a tall-ish man dressed in robes. His hair flowed like clouds gracefully floating through the sky. “So...air dude?”
“Perceptive.” Said the Man, Ochitsuite.
He spun his large staff, making a strong wind which sent Juryoku flying through the air!
“HOLY SHIT-” Juryoku grabbed a car that was launched through the air, using his powers to make it stop as he clung to the Car and hid behind it. “Holy fuck nuggets…”
Ochitsuite used air to leap onto the Car and swung his staff, nearly crushing Juryo’s head. Luckily, he rolled out of the way and grabbed the underside of the Car and pulled himself up. He went to punch him when he suddenly felt all the air pulled from his lungs. He fell backwards, off the car, gasping for air.
“Hrmph” Ochitsuite glided down, standing over him. “As if you stood a chance.”
He lifted his staff to strike him when he suddenly felt his heart stop. Juryo bought himself just enough time by freezing his heart in place. He managed to catch his breath and punch Ochitsuite in the face.
Meanwhile in another part of the Neighborhood, Taberu was trying to dodge attacks from his Opponent, Sokudo, who was moving at unprecedented speeds. Seemed like he was getting faster the more he moved.
“Shit shit…” Taberu mumbled to himself as he jumped and tried to dodge. “This is bad...bad bad bad...until I can find someone else, I can’t-”
While he was distracted, he was kicked in the side by Sokudo. With his speed, the force was devastating. It sent him flying across the street and into a building. Sokudo walked over, smoking a cigarette.
“I’ve heard of you. You’re Taberu Hitokuchi.” Sokudo said as he took out a piece of paper. “Around 2 years ago you awakened your Mascot, leading to your powerful Jaw, and ability to assimilate whatever you ate. However, you ate your colleagues at your College Lab, and as punishment your hands were bound and you were going to be starved. Enjo Netsu saved you, and you’ve foolishly-”
Taberu managed to get up and he headbutted Sokudo in the face, burning part of his face on his cigarette. He stumbled a bit but stopped himself from falling over again.
“Don’t call it foolish!” Taberu said, as his Mascot, Dylinae, formed around him. “There’s nothing foolish about being loyal to the man who saved your life!!”
Taberu bit into a nearby car, and swallowed the metal without being harmed. He grew armour on his body, including spikes on his shins. He ran towards Sokudo, ready to fight.
In another part of the Neighborhood, Fumetsu is having a much tougher time. His Opponent is a man named Kakoku. He couldn’t even get close as the air seemed to be infecting him, and causing immense damage to his muscular, Skeletal, and Nervous systems, leaving a useless body on the ground, but miraculously still alive.
“...So you can survive my Ability.” Kakoku said, spinning a Scalpel in his hand. “Tell me how. I must know.”
“It’s my ability, jackass.” Fumetsu said, regenerating. “I can regenerate on a level so high, I can’t find anything able to kill me. I’ve been shot, electrocuted, blown up, stabbed, set on fire, crushed, even split in two. My ability just restores me.”
“Interesting.” Kakoku said, squatting down. “Then why does it not heal your many scars?”
“It heals my body back to it’s previous point. These scars come from an accident long before I gained this Power.” He said, trying to stand up.
When he got up, Kakoku jumped back and released his Virus again. Fumetsu felt his previously mentioned Systems starting to break down again, but he had an idea. He suddenly charged, seeming uneffected.
“My Body doesn’t recognize his Virus’ effects as damage, so I have to heal manually, which is slower, but…” Fumetsu thought to himself. “If I have Killer break down my muscles and Bones, then my Body will see it as damage and heal at rapid speed...letting me overcome to effects!”
“Oh?” Kakoku was surprised. “Impressive. If only I could take that power. It’s something ‘he’ could really use…”
He reached into his pockets and took out multiple scalpels. He threw them, with each one stabbing Fumetsu in the face, tearing open his eyes, nose, jaw, and forehead. Fumetsu stumbled a bit but continued charging.
“Not good enough.” Kakoku said, pulling out a bonesaw.
He reared back and slashed Fumetsu’s head, cutting it down the middle, stopping around the area between the eyes. Fumetsu reared his arm back and RAMMED his middle finger into Kakoku’s eye, causing it to burst open. Kakoku jumped back, holding his bleeding eye. Fumetsu then grabbed his hair and slammed his chin down on his knee, knocking him out cold.
“Ugh…” Fumetsu started to pull the scalpels out so he can see. “For once I just wish SOMETHING could at least come close to killing me.”
Meanwhile on the other side of the Neighborhood, Enjo was transported, along with a strange man. He has a bag over his head and buttons where his eyes would be on the bag.
“...Where were the others sent?” Enjo asked.
“You should be more concerned with your own safety.” Said the strange man, known as Sandman.
“I’m not asking. I’m demanding an answer.” Enjo said as flames covered around his arm.
Enjo stepped forwards and tripped a bit. He looked down to see the ground has been crushed into sand. The sand suddenly burst up around him and surrounded him like an orb, spinning rapidly.
“Mmmm...maybe I’ll crush you...or impale you all over.” Sandman said to himself cheerfully.
Suddenly, the sand was turned into solid glass. A huge blast of flames burst from the glass structure, blowing a large hole through it, which Enjo walked out of.
“I’ll ask once more.” Enjo said, surrounded by raging Flames. “Where are my Friends?”
Sandman released some Sand from inside his coat, controlling it to form it into blades and compressed Sand Blasts he sent flying at Enjo. Enjo repelled them with waves and blasts and fire, making the sand disperse and turn to glass from the intense heat. Enjo started to sweat a tiny bit, but it instantly evaporated upon touching his flames.
“Fine...have it your way.” Enjo said.
Fire gathered around his hands, and started to rapidly expand. “Shakunetsu no…”
He reared back, and the flames started to writhe around intensely. “SABAKU NO KEMONO!”
He fired a large beam of Fire, shaped like a Dragon, towards Sandman. The heat was so intense it was burning and scorching the street, and causing nearby street lights to melt rapidly. Sandman quickly make a barrier of Sand, replacing the destroyed parts by breaking the ground up into Sand, but he was quickly running out of earth to draw from.
“I’m ending this!” Enjo shouted, as he surrounded his whole body with strong flames.
“Hageshi Ka Mado!” He used the flames to propel himself through the beam of fire at extreme speed. He collided with the barrier, breaking through it, but Sandman jumped back in time to avoid it.
“Sand Blockade!” Sandman shouted as he crushed the surrounding buildings into sand and surrounded himself with a large shield.
Enjo lifted his hand and made a giant fireball. “Shuiro Bakudan!!”
He launched the fireball, easily blasting the Shield away, and lightly burning Sandman. If the shield hadn’t stopped the majority of it, he would’ve been incinerated.
“True Sand Ulti-” Sandman began to say, when Enjo propelled himself towards him.
“SHUT UP” He shouted aggressively.
He shot flames from his elbow, propelling his fire forward at high speed. When his fist collided, Sandman was knocked out cold and knocked several feet back as well. Enjo winced, feeling the bones in his hand break. He looked at his hand to see the skin on his knuckles was ripped off from the impact.
“You really should be more careful~” Said his Mascot. “It’ll take around 5 minutes to fix this much damage.”
“Take your time. I’m gonna find the others.” He said as he walked away.
