“Well, we should probably change the lock” the girls nodded, as they pulled up in front of their home, Rebecca noticed the door to the shed is opened, Lia and Jess went in while she walked towards the shed, she turned on the light and looked around, nothing out of the usual, she just closed the door and left, once home, Lia decided to make some dinner, Jess and Rebecca joined her in the kitchen:

“So, what’s for dinner?” Rebecca asked as she sat on the counter

“Becca, I can only cook one thing and you know it”

“Spaghetti!” The three girls said at once, then laughed

after a few hours they were in bed, Lia immediately went to bed, Becca prepared for the presentation she had tomorrow, and Jess was texting a guy who seemed a bit interesting, she gets into relationships so fast, then ends them just as fast, Lia and Becca sometimes made bets on how long she’ll last, the guy she’s talking to now was some handsome know it all from her biology class, he just starting talking to her on her second day, and it got here, to be honest, she was getting pretty bored, a loud creak made her drop her phone on her face :

“OUCH!” She got up while rubbing her nose, she looked outside her window to find the shed door opened

“Jeez, all the locks here need to be changed!”

She went out and walked to the shed, once there, she heard a giggle, she froze, the giggle kept going, her hands were shaking as she reached out to the doorknob, just then, the giggling turned into loud scary laughter, Jess bolted back into the house and slammed the door shut, she started running up the stairs, until something held her leg, she fell down:

“UGH!” She couldn’t feel her limbs, but she got up with a lot of effort, the windows suddenly shattered in one go, and the walls started to crack, Jess wobbled around the house trying to leave, she looked back and saw a tall figure coming towards her, she panicked and fell again

“NO NO!”

She struggled to pull herself up as the figure got closer and closer

“Why?”

The figure talked in a distorted voice,

“Why?”

Jess felt herself being pulled down, as if some invisible force pushed her down, the house started to fall down, and the figure, wish now seemed to be a woman, a brown-haired woman in what seemed to be long pajamas, stood above Jess:

“Why did you come back?”

She bent down and stared at Jess, her face started morphing, her eyes turned white and her face started. . .rotting, pieces of her flesh fell on Jess’s face as she opened her mouth allowing more blood to spell on Jess, mixing with her tears as she held her breath:

“WHY DID YOU COME BACK!?”

Jess suddenly jolted awake, she started panting as she looked around, she was in the shed, she was so sweaty, and all her limbs hurt, she got up with pain, sun light came thru the many cracks in the old shed, it was morning:

“Did I spend the whole night here?”

She opened the door and started walking towards the house, but something isn’t right, as her eyes adjusted to the sunlight, Jess realized how different her surroundings were, there was a wooden fence around the whole property, and the house was painted different, it actually looked newer, the grass was fresh, and the forest next to the house was smaller:

“What the hell?”

“Hurry up!”

Jess looked behind her, there were three kids running towards the house, a girl and two boys, Jess hid next to the shed, the kids ran to the door and knocked, a woman opened the door:

“You don’t have to knock every time you’re here”

The kids grinned widely and hugged the woman, on a closer look, Jess realized that was the woman who attacked her that night, the little girl suddenly ran towards the shed:

“Is my doll in there? Can I take it?”

“After lunch, come on in now” the woman answered

“But mooom!”

“Jessica that’s enough, come in now!”

The little girl followed her mom’s orders and closed the door; Jess leaned against the shed’s wall as she held her head:

“What the hell is going on? Am I dreaming?”

“No, you’re not”

Jess jumped at that and look to her right, one of the boys was standing there, he stared at her for a while, one of his eyes was green while the other was gray, heterochromia, and a grey eye, that’s special, he took a step forward and smiled:

“You want to go back? To your time?”

Jess looked around and back at the kid, he just smiled as he waited for a respond:

“Um, how do you. . .”

“Do you want to go back or not?”

“Well yeah but. . .”

“Okay!”

He pulled Jess as he got into the shed, he stared at her again and left, Jess waited for a while before reaching for the door handle, it was opened fast by . . . Lia!

“Oh my god! Rebecca she’s in the shed!”

Becca came running

“Shit! Jess! What the hell! Did you sleep here?” Jess just stared at the girls for a while before speaking:

“We need to leave this house, now”
