You know he probably was fed up with her terrible attitude that he distanced himself as her father. Not really the way to go about raising a troubled daughter but it seems he still cares or at least feels bad for not noticing. Edit: Since people are still misunderstanding my comment 3 years later. I originally thought he distanced himself from her due to the RUMORS of her terrible attitude. This was based off of knowledge from previous chapters and not knowing anything beyond this chapter. I’m not saying she actually is terrible or deserves to be treated this way. It was just an observation I had at the time😭 I know the father is pure trash💀
