Can you tell me why the world is this way?

Harsh words, sad scenes, and slowly beating hearts

Do we not care what it is we all say?

Actions we take are the poison dart.

The world no longer cares for everyone

Left to our own devices... destruction

Mother against daughter, father against son

This harsh world everyone must always shun

This world we start anew like morning dew

No more we harm our brothers and sisters

Flags of peace and harmony we shall sew

Signs of respect with names not mister

This new world is what we all desire
