As a result the curtains weren't allowing any light inside the room and several candles were lit.

The internal fight was obvious to everyone, but Milena, who was beside her laying comfortably in a chair, had disclosed something in her;a few words, and several gestures from the princess made her precieve that she was willing to comunicate.

Amantine was looking downwards at her hands, slightly lost in thought when Milena gave her the spoon. 

Then they eyes met and Amantine smiled slightly before sighing. 

It was lunchtime.

After a few mouthfuls Milena indicated the bowl of steaming soup.

"Река?"

Amantine smiled again "yes, it's good, thank you".

Milena smiled back in relief. 

During that time Amantine had enough time to observe the other woman.

Milena had thick brown hair, tied tightly in a chignon and dark warm eyes. Her eyebrows were dark as well and regardless of their thickness they fitted her other features perfectly.She had small heartshaped lips and a mole on her right cheekbone. 

Amantine personally disliked moles, but she had to admit that Milena's was something that draw attention almost in an attractive way.

She could spot only a bit of makeup on the corner of her eyes; yet it was something that couldn't be spotted from an unexperienced eye.

That inspection gave made her formulate her first impression on Milena.

Once Amantine finished her soup the young doctor tried telling her something more by revealing, not without a bit of embarrassment, some of her acting skills.

She grabbed some paper and a quill and placed them on the bedside table. Indicating her interlocutor she mimicked the motion of someone writing. Then she rushed near the library in the room , bringing the immaginary written paper with her, and after indicating herself, Milena took a book and pretended to study it accurately and confront it with the paper. Finally she let out an "Aaaah!" as if she had had an idea.

Amantine , still sitting in the bed, was watching attentively, almost amused. 

Amantine smiled once again. 

She relied on the only word she thought she knew in that foreign language.

"Good....Река.."

Milena chuckled. The princess had just commented her plan as "delicious". Nonetheless she was glad the young woman had agreed.

The princess immediately took the quill and started writing.

"My name is Amantine Maupin. I am 23 years old, and I don't know where I am. I live in France, in Elancourt, Avenue Millies Lacr..." she suddenly stopped.

Her breath became slightly heavier. 

For f**k's sake what's going on interferred her anxiety.    

She quickly came to the realization that she couldn't really write what she just did.

She regretfully cancelled what she had done so far and proceeded to start anew.

Milena was watching silently, following her patient's internal conflict with patience.

With a preoccupied expression on her face she let the ink touch the white paper once again.

"I don't know where I am. I don't know anyone. I am scared. I am not in my body.I want to go home."

Amantine handed over the paper in a surrendered fatigued way, as if those black words had stolen all of her energy.

Milena took it delicately and folded it into four before hiding it in her gown's large pocket. She smiled at the princess and thanked her.

Amantine sighed then reaching for her hand,it squeezed it vigorously, making Milena understand how much she was relying on her.

Their meaningful comunication was interrupted from the maids that entered the room without any notice to take out the serving cart.

"Who told you to come in? Wasn't I clear that no one should enter without my or my father's permission ? The patient is still unstable and you need to be caref...." 

She didn't have the time to finish as the maids terrified look transferred to her as well.

"Oh, I will stay only for a few moments , if you don't mind, doctor." said the queen.
