All Phoena could hear was screaming as they fell. Their eyes struggled to keep up with all the magic they were seeing, dizzying swirls of all shades of the rainbow danced around them. They were silent, trying to soak it all in.
Kieran screamed beyond the capacity of their lungs. They had been cut from their power and it was destroying them.
Galen’s magic rushed around him, clinging like a second skin that was all too tight.
Sedge’s sword had slipped away as they were stolen away, his hands gripping nothing by his side.
Bree was oddly silently, head cocked to the side as she heard beyond the screaming of her friends. Something was chanting ominously.

Karla was calm. She shut her eyes and listened to the strange words that filled the air.

Ten bodies hit the ground with a thump.
“Ist et, hrune vuna.” A masked figure said, sitting upon a golden throne overlooking the bodies. “Lio hrune grunart.”
As soon as the bodies had appeared, they vanished once more.
