“Hey Abby!” I say sprinting in my winter boots. “Yes hun?” she says with a pearly white smile I envy. “I was wondering if you want to go to the New Years party with Max, Shayla, Cole and I.” I say, “Oh I dunno Haley.” She replied hesitantly. “Please! As we start walking to my car a cocky middle age white man says something along the lines of “Give me some of that dark chocolate.” I turn and lose my shit. I pull my razor out of my purse and zap it in his direction and yell “ Don't you have something better to do than catcall minors and act like a pedophile? ” If i hadn't said something no one would. Abby is a very quiet person due to her bullies from middle school who would say racial slurs and put her into the loud black girl with an attitude stereotype when she stood up for herself. Now she doesn't.
