The goons threw Valentine into one of the holding rooms. The dim light flickered overhead as he stood there alone. Valentine's body was already shaking. He was to fight tonight. His mind raced at who Shaw was going to put him up against. Tonight was also alpha fight night. Was his fight to be the dessert for the clients? A special evening for those who paid more. There were so many thoughts that clouded his head with a fog.
A few moments later, clothes were tossed in at him with an order to get changed. It was the uniform for waiting tables, but not his. Black short shorts and a crop top shirt. Clothing that was not ideal for any kind of fight. He should have assumed this would be his git-up for the evening.
Once again, to play the sweet, coy, and timid omega in the ring. Valentine felt that would be the only thing that would allow the match to be swayed in his favor. The only thought was to get his opponent to underestimate him in the ring.
Not many were aware of who his father was. Valentine was the only son of an all-time title-holding fighter from back in the day. His father was also knocked out of the ring because of his knee.
In the room Valentine was in, he couldn't hear a thing that was going on outside of it. So when the goons rushed in, it startled him. They threw a thick cloth bag over his head then they drug him down the hall. The sound of the crowd started to grow louder as they got closer.
The bag ripped from his face as they tossed him in the ring. They pushed him so hard that he stumbled in and fell to his knees before he caught himself. The mat before him was covered in fresh blood from the fight before. The crowd booed him heavily till Shaw's voice bombed overhead of all of them.
"Tonight, I have a special treat. Our very first omega has entered the ring. Additional bets are being taken now."
The coward started to shift. The boos held back for the time. It took Valentine a moment to get his senses straight. The bag over his head was covered, with the scent of another. The same scent was on his clothes. One he had never smelt before, so it took him a few breaths to realize who was standing before him.
Golden eyes looked up from the mat; Zac stood over him. His shoulder's rolled forward in his fighting stance. It was his face that continued to stain the mat with blood. The amber liquid dripped from his busted lip and the cut over his eye. The wraps on his hand also coated in a fresh layer of blood.
Shaw would face him off against Zac of all the fighters. As he stood he watched Zac step back, dropping his stance slightly.
"It's okay." Commented Valentine as he moved forward. "I made a new deal." He smiled weakly.
The scent of Asher coated Zac as Valentine moved closer to him. It sent a surge of rage through him as he rushed Valentine. Zac slammed him up against the chainlink walls of the cage they were in. He no longer saw Valentine before him but Asher.
Zac huffed heavily as he pressed his forearm against his throat. Eyes glossed over, dilated as if he had been dosed before his fight tonight. Zac's knee surely didn't bother him a bit as he moved around the ring after Valentine.
Valentine clawed at Zac's forearm he had to break the seal he made over his throat. Zac laid two quick jabs into his ribs, getting a roar from the crowd. Valentine dug as hard as he could into his arm before he finally let go. Zac was toying with him as he watched him drop and gasp for air.
"You're mine now." Grunted Zac as he picked Valentine up by his hair and launched him across the ring.
He smacked into the other side of the cage hard before he stopped. It took him a moment to get up back to his feet. He knew he had told Zac it was okay, but he didn't think he would go this hard on him. It felt like he honestly hated him.
That sense of hate he felt hurt his inner omega, which caused him to push out his pheromones to show that. Even though he tried his hardest to hold them back he couldn't help it.
The two of them had been hot and cold since day one, but he thought there was some kind of understanding between them. The few soft moments shared fed Valentine's omega with feelings he longed to have. Feelings he locked away from himself because he knew they would cause him nothing but trouble and pain.
He found that it made life easier for himself. If he didn't feel for anyone then there was no chance of him getting hurt. However, that didn't stop his omega from feeling the way it felt or needing the things it needed.
Now he stood there feeling hurt and openly showed that to the entire room.
Zac came into play in Fight Night. Now he has his own love story with Valentine.
(This story takes places after the original story, which doesn't need to be read to understand this one but would flow better if Fight Night was read piror.)
Zac a hot headed alpha who learns his current ways won't get him the life he wants, but is he willing to change what he knows and believes to have it.
Valentine an omega who signs up for more than he can handle. Will he be able to figure his way out and before it all destrories him?
