Year 3002
Midohira, Daikidageda
Aisa resumed glaring at Prassaca. “I must not finish you with my poison, eh?” she whispered. “Killing you with my poison is a quick death. Not very emotional.”
“Quick deaths… They are worthless.” Aisa winked. She started wrapping Prassaca completely in a thick cluster of web threads, leaving almost no room for air to enter inside the cocoon. Prassaca could hear her heartbeat increase rapidly as she felt a very uneasy sensation in her body.
“NO STOP! DON’T!” Prassaca let out a scream as she continued kicking her legs trying to free herself, causing her to get entangled further.
Aisa turned around and started walking towards Jill as Prassaca’s muffled screams were barely audible outside the cocoon.
“Your powers are weak, Jill!” Aisa greeted her with a beaming smile.
Jill sighed, looking helpless, “Aisa no-”
“I never really understood why Haizaki ever loved you, like he did. I don’t need to know, eh?” Aisa snapped. “So unfortunate that he wants to keep you alive, I had a special death planned for you!” She spun a leash using her web around Jill’s neck and started crawling towards her spacecraft, dragging Jill along the ground.
As Aisa got closer to the battle scene, she saw Mujika, Sayla and the chief having an animated discussion. She saw a partially transformed Rakuten standing with another man holding her tight. Five other humans were surrounding them. With an irritated face, Aisa continued walking towards them, dragging Jill behind her, as she continued howling in pain.
“Eh! Your squad members managed to kill the cobra, the lion, the kangaroo, and even the wasp? How unfortunate!” Aisa exclaimed.
As she approached closer, Mujika stood up on her feet instantly, taking a defensive stance. She morphed into her porcupine form as quills erected on her arm.
“You think you can stop me with this? Hah!” Aisa laughed out loud, “Your powers are weak!” She mocked Mujika.
The chief transformed into a quahog, expanding his protective shell around him. He prompted Rintaro and the other helpless humans to enter the shell to protect themselves from a Aisa. Rintaro did not budge, as he continued holding Rakuten who had started feeling impatient to charge towards Aisa, with a sole objective of protecting Jill.
“Stay out of this, Rakuten! You cannot fight Aisa.” Sayla pulled her back with her tentacles.
Mujika aimed her quills towards Aisa and began shooting.
“Uh-oh!” Aisa whispered, “This would not work against me.” she winked and started crawling in a haphazard fashion, dodging all the quills being shot towards her and spinning her web in the process. Sayla took another step backwards, pulling Rakuten and Rintaro outside the complex network of the web, while Mujika struggled to keep up with the pace of Aisa’s charge.
Suddenly, Aisa stopped her assault with an aghast expression on her face and continued staring in a particular direction. She saw Haizaki limping towards the spacecraft. His wing appeared to be wounded heavily. Aisa could feel a sense of urgency in his retreat.
“Aisa, we need to go! RUN!” Haizaki screamed.
“Wh-What hap-” Shocked, Aisa was unable to comprehend the situation.
“Did you do that to Haizaki?” Sayla whispered, looking at Rakuten.
Rakuten nodded in response.
“What about our mission, Haizaki!” Aisa exclaimed, taking a few steps towards him. “Who did this to you?”
Haizaki continued glaring towards Rauten, as he kept limping towards his spacecraft. With a trembling hand, he pointed towards Rakuten, fury building on his face, “I will come back for you!”
Enraged, but wary of Rakuten’s strength, Aisa shot out a few strong threads of her web to immobilize Mujika. She loosened the grip on the leash that was tied around Jill’s neck and started walking behind Haizaki, with a shocked expression on her face. Instantly, Rakuten pushed Rintaro and Sayla away to run towards Jill.
Aisa continued her walk back to the spacecraft, frustration building up in her mind. Unable to leave her staunch ego aside, Aisa stopped in her way and looked towards Rakuten.
“So you are the reason Haizaki is hurt, eh?” Aisa hissed, “I cannot leave without gifting you a memorable present.” She opened her mouth as two large fangs grew out of it. A viscous sticky substance started oozing out of her fangs, as she walked towards Rintaro with a strong sense of vengeance in her eyes. She arched her back and charged towards Rintaro, with an attempt to stab him with her venomous fangs. Rintaro took a few steps backwards trying to run as far as he could, from Aisa. He tripped over a rock and fell on the ground.
“NO!” yelled Rakuten, as she made an attempt to pounce on Aisa to protect Rintaro.
Jill opened her eyes and spotted a lethal Aisa charging towards Rintaro. In a split second, she got back up on her feet and sprinted towards Rintaro, drawing every ounce of energy in her body. Right when Aisa was about to bury her fangs into Rintaro’s arm, Jill jumped in her way to tackle her with all of her strength. Annoyed, Aisa pierced Jill’s leg, injecting the warm and deadly poison into her.
Aisa could hear the spacecraft launcher start up. Frustrated, she transformed back into her human form and started running towards the spacecraft, in an attempt to leave Daikidageda.
Rakuten rushed towards Jill who was struggling to stay up on her feet. She collapsed to the ground, as everyone continued staring at her miserable state.
“Ji-Jizen!” Rakuten muttered. “Why!”
“They cannot run! We need to stop them while we can!” the chief commanded in an authoritative voice. “Rakuten, you must stop them!”
“You must go, Rakuten, you must try and stop Haizaki from leaving Daikidageda. He is the true instigator of chaos. We need to finish him, right here, right now. Else," Jill paused for a breath,"he will come back stronger.”
Rakuten closed her eyes and focused her energy to visualize a conversation with the eagle inside her.
“I need you.” she whispered.
“You have me.” Rakuten heard the singular voice in her mind.
She took a confident step forward and looked at the spacecraft. She pointed towards the spacecraft and mumbled, “We need to take it down,” she paused “for Jizen.”

Aisa entered the launcher hastily and fastened her seat belt. “The stupid eagle did this to you?” she screamed, astonished.
“This should launch any moment now. I am hurt, I am in pain! I want to go back!” Haizaki shrieked in agony, as he continued preparing the spacecraft for launch. He paused to hear the loud screech of Rakuten transforming outside.
"QUICK! QUICK!" he slammed on the gears of the spacecraft as the engines started to rumble.
Aisa spotted a furious eagle flying towards their spacecraft at a tremendous speed. With a sudden jerk, the spacecraft started accelerating as it left the ground.
“Here we go!” Haizaki gasped, as he clutched his seat, hoping for the spacecraft to be airborne before a dangerous Rakuten collided with it, throwing off the trajectory.
The spacecraft took off quickly and missed Rakuten by a thin margin.
Irritated, Aisa began, “Are you giving up on our dream, Haizaki? Are you so weak?”
“I am not giving up. I will be back!” Haizaki snapped sharply. "There is something different about these humans from Daikidageda, they seem to be much more stronger than we are!" he exclaimed.
There was no response from Aisa, as she tried to process the entire battle that had taken place in Midohira, inside her head.
Haizaki sighed.

Rakuten kneeled beside Jill, holding her in her hands. She stroked her fur, with affection as Jill opened her feeble eyes.
“This is it, Rakuten. My body cannot hold up against Aisa’s venom any longer.” Jill whispered.
Rakuten sniffed as streams of tears started running down her cheeks. “Don’t g-”
“Promise me Rakuten that you will continue fighting for the perfect society that you always dreamt of. Promise me that you will help my friends restore humanity on Earth and protect Daikidageda from Haizaki and other bad elements on Earth.” Jill paused to draw a few deep breaths. “I am going to tell you a secret.” Jill pulled Rakuten closer to her and mumbled something in her ears.
“Promise me Raki-” Jill paused. “Promise me, Rakuten.”
Rakuten took a deep breath and looked into Jill’s eyes, “My friends call me Raki.”
Jill curled her lips into a weak smile, as she touched Rakuten’s stomach. “You have someone growing inside, don’t you, Raki?” she closed her eyes, “Have you thought of a name?”
Rakuten felt Jill's body loosen in her arms, as she let out her final breath. “Goodbye Jizen.”
